American Jews overwhelmingly tend to vote Democrat for one simple reason: they see the choice as being between 1) the Democrats and their belief in nothing versus 2) the Republicans and their beliefs based on their Christian faith and heritage.
Given that choice, then, rather than side with people of faith which they see as a different and potentially antagonistic belief system they feel safer in the party that is devoid of any values or convictions.
The thinking behind this is that, if people believe in things then they might fight for those things. They might even commit atrocities in their name. Only those who believe in nothing have nothing to kill or fight for. If everyone just believed in nothing, the thinking goes: then the Jews would be safe, for if one doesnt believe in anything then they cant believe the Jews are bad.
These people believe that it is beliefs and not what was believed that led to the Holocaust and to all of the other worlds atrocities. Its why the Modern Liberals Blueprint for Utopia as rendered by John Lennon sought a world without countries, religions or any other values or convictions (just all the people living for today.)

Yeah, I thought about those Jewish commune type things. I bet they don’t normally allow folks to join and live there if they don’t contribute in some fashion. At least that’s different from how the state handles its Marxist ideals.
I think most Amish don’t vote, but I have seen in a few places that supposedly the small % that do vote seem to vote republican. I know that when non-old order Mennonites get political they seem to go way to the left. I don’t think the old order Mennonites vote very often, just like the Amish. I wonder if the Kibbutz folks are big into voting one way or the other, or if they vote differently from individual Jews living in rural and urban areas.
FReegards
Most of the kibbutzim feel very strongly about holding on to the “Territories.”
I’ll guess that makes them side more often with the Conservatives, but I don’t know that for certain.
I don’t have time to find a good link from a non-biased source, but the pictures and direct quotes from Hitler speak for themselves:

Oh, I'm sure he's sitting at the right hand of God right now as he must have asked for forgiveness, just before he blew his brains out.
That's the way it's supposed to be.
Ever heard of the Salvation Army, or Catholic Charities?
I try to spread the word but too many on both sides have swallowed the “Christian-Hitler” lie.
Yes, but I am more of an OXFAM type. (Although I have been spotted at St. Vincent Paul's.)
Plus, I'm kinda down on Catholic Charities for their "splendid" work in helping Gov. Baldacci flood Maine with those dratted Somali "refugees," who are actually camel, sheep, and goat rustlers/welfare loafers from the Kenya border lands.
Bless you, my child. Next time, bring a friend.
Believe what you want. Google Hitler/Occult and see what you find. As for the atheism, where do you think the super race came from? Darwinism and atheism, but believe what the secularists want you to believe.
I have heard all that before and I don’t really believe it..I think that older Jews are Democrats because they still view the right wing as the big government oppressors who scape goated he Jews as the cause of all the problems, starting with the Dreyfus episode in France.
What happened drove a lot of Jews to socialism, not big government socialism, more like anarchist socialism. They never got over the labels and still cannot get past them, even though the meanings have completely changed.
Yes, Baldacci and Jack Nicholas. Thanks so much. I'm not too crazy about them either.
Now, if only the government would get out of the way, those churches could get back to their proper roles...charity and missionary work.
It’s not what I believe; it’s a fact.
From quotes from the Mien Kampf forward, Hitler cloaked himself in Christianity
Was he sincere? Doubtful, I agree.
“What happened drove a lot of Jews to socialism, not big government socialism, more like anarchist socialism. They never got over the labels and still cannot get past them, even though the meanings have completely changed.”
I’d back it up even further. Most of the “first wave” Jewish people (pre-WWII), came from Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Russia, etc), where the Jewish people faced massive oppression and discrimination from nationalistic groups (Google Black Hundreds, for example)
The nationalistic groups made the Nazis look like pikers.
The “safer” harbor was the communist party, who promised the Jews an equal shot.
Of course, the commies lied, but the lie was revealed 40 years after they fled, so they were already ingrained.
It is not a fact, but hey; your mind is made up. You refuse to even google Hitler and the Occult for fear of your beliefs being challenged. He was into the Occult to the point of believing in an old German god creature would be created through evolution. What to you think the 2nd Reich was?
Arguing with you is pointless. Believe he was a Christian and that is where his evil came from. The 1950’s Marxist revisionists couldn’t possibly be lying about Christianity and the Nazis.
When needed, not unlike Obama, Putin, or Clinton, Hitler as a politician wrapped himself in a Christian veneer, favorably quoting Luther to justify his anti-Semitism and having pictures taken with the Catholic hierarchy.
You haven’t even read my posts because you are misrepresenting my position.
And yes, arguing with me, because I have undisputed facts on my side, is pointless for historical revisionist like yourself who has to rely on lies.
See above. Apparently your points aren’t so undisputed. Keep holding onto your false narrative that was installed by the evolutionists in the 50s. Do you know how many Christians were massacred by Hitler?
Read E. L. Doctorow's Worlds Fair.
In it (a pretty good book, too), ALD fictionalizes an America neutral in WWII, with Lindbergh's America Firsters running the country. In the book he spells out his "Jewish" fear and the "danger" of "Right Wing" Christians, "Conservative" political thought, Capitalism, and "latent American Anti-Semitism."
Good read. Sort of a political "Portnoy's Complaint."
