Well, of course they’d get sued. That’s the problem with insane regulations that force good people to throw out decent food that can be given to homeless shelters or even an animal shelter. The destruction of good food by restaurants in this country is a national embarrassment.

Without a doubt.

I do understand the legal liability but that doesn’t mitigate the loss of good food when people need it. I guess it is a protection mechanism by the restaurants. I get it.

I do wonder if Cracker Barrel has a food allowance provision for their employees. That dastardly muffin could have been part of his daily allowance.
