The destruction of good food by restaurants in this country is a national embarrassment.

Why is that? I loathe the Chamber of Commerce but don’t understand this.

My husband has run restaurants and has come up against the health department Nazis who have made him throw out good food because of some lunatic infraction. Boy, if they only knew how they were hated by chefs!
