Obama official Brandon Friedman: Military supporters 'have a cartoonish view of the military'
Examiner ^ | June 5, 2014 | Renee Nal

Obama administration official Brandon Friedman opined on Wednesday that people should not rush to judgement on Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's desertion from his post in Afghanistan, as perhaps “his platoon was long on psychopaths and short on leadership.”

As reported at Hot Air, he later apologized, but the Former Veterans Affairs official's other tweets are just as insightful into his mindset.

Friedman's other tweets, including one where he said that "Many Americans--including military 'supporters'--have a cartoonish view of the military," is stated as a fact...

What a a surprise. This squirt wasn’t fired after calling out vets “psychopaths” in a tweet.

Not surprised, but still outraged. I cannot conceive of a greater fool than Barack Obama ever occupying the Oval Office. I thought there were enough checks and balances to prevent it, but clearly there are not. The American electorate are truly brain-dead morons.

In the freako bizzaro world inhabited by Liberals, Bergdahl was the only intelligent and sane person in Afghanistan BECAUSE he deserted. The soldiers who believe in God and country are psychotic brain-dead neanderthals that are occasionally useful, but can be ignored as irrelevant and should be kept in cages when they are not actually doing something the Liberals want done.

It’s scary. I can’t imagine how deeply Obama and his fellows are loathed by the rank and file of all the services, but I am sure that there is a limit to the amount of crap they will willingly take.

No matter how deeply the rank and file of all the services may despise Obama and his fellows, it can be nothing to how much zero and his ilk loathe, despise and hate all of the LOYAL AMERICAN military as they continually and unabashedly prove each and every day!

An army that is SUPPOSED to desert. That would make us worse than France even.

Cartoonish view of the military? Guilty.

I even believe, as many on FR do, that my oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same” meant something, that it wasn’t just a formality, and that my oath had no expiration date. It doesn’t get more cartoonish than that.

Salute to you, Sir, and thank you for your service both then, now and in the future.

The claim that military supporters who have not served themselves have a “cartoonish view” has a certain basis in fact, though. Most supporters, who are amazing people that have our backs and who are way under appreciated by everyone, support because it is the right thing to do or because a family member is in the military.

We come back from active duty, and we talk with our families and friends. Normal. But you stick to the good stuff. The funny little things that happen, the day you accidentally got dinner twice and it were edible both times, the speed the bomb officer took off when a hang up dropped from a bomb bay (Dad told me that one - the guy was on a bicycle and passed a taxiing Canberra, according to legend).

We never tell them the bad stuff or the boring stuff. The only place they can get any idea of that is during our ore restless nights or from movies, which are not exactly renowned for their accuracy.

Still - compared to the laughably cartoonish view of the military the left holds - our supporters view is a Rembrandt, theirs is Ren and Stimpy.

Actually we have a cartoonish government and unfortunately the debt it has piled up is not cartoonish.

My bet—Obama will use his pen to cancel the election in November and rule by decree—Harry Reid will support him in his and force though a measure to make him President-for-life. A new White House Team of former ACORN people will re-write the US Constution to give him all the power he needs to reform America. New Flag—with Obama’s Face where the stars were once. A new federal Police force with the powers of life and death, Camps for re-education. Fox News shut down as ‘Hate Speech’ Radio hosts, arrested for Back Taxes and hate speech. It could happen and what would Americans do? ZIP.

Insult and intimidation. The ministry of truth shaping the public impression that support for the military is for the simple and ignorant.

“Do you want mark yourself as stupid Comrade? You will if you support the armed forces! Choose intelligence! Stand with the intellectual elite and the glorious future they will create!”

From a mouth piece of the Cartoon Presidency to your ear!

Well Mr. Asshat, as a VETERAN of the US Military and some one who has regular active contact with numerous current military personnel and units I can assure you that my view of the military is likely much more accurate then yours seems to be...............

And he’s a writer for Time Magazine. Surprise surprise, more unelected Democrat activists (he was vice-chair of VoteVets.org in 2008) colluding with the administration in print and socialist networking media...
