My guess is that if he was being held by the Haqqaini Network, then the 5 Terrorists were just cover for the ransom money. IOW the Terrorists were just released to cover up the fact that we paid these guys a huge ransom.
Personally I think Bergdahl was living the happy life of a Bedouin jihadist wannabe and doing his 5 daily prayer rug butt raises when he was asked to do a mission for Allah and found himself being handed over to the enemy.
He sure didn’t look like a happy camper when that helicopter arrived.

I think this looks suspicious, as well. But, I don't think that even the Obama administration is going to admit to it, and hid any payment very deeply. It's probably not going through the US banking system at all: someone in FINCEN would find it and all it would take is one patriot to leak it.
