OK, it's primary day...we're all nervously awaiting the results of several key races..so until the polls close, I thought we could kill a little time thinking ahead..while we digest Marco Rubio's announcement that he's thinking about running..

Ted Cruz is probably the choice of 99.9% of Freepers..except for those few who fret about the Canadian thing.. (and BTW..if you keep it up, JimRob's gonna ban you).
So, who would you like to see as his running mate???
Many here would like to see Palin, but it's highly unlikely that she'd run again for the #2 spot.
There are several good choices...Ben Carson, Bobby Jindal, Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Nicki Haley, just to name a few...Mike Pence, Mitch Daniels, Jim DeMint have also been mentioned.
Lately, I've been thinking more and more about Alan West. I think he'd be superb...
And it would be a great campaign slogan....a contemporary riff on Horace Greeley's vision of American greatness.."Go west, young man!"
We could call it "CRUZ WEST, America!!"
So, what's your ideal ticket????

Anyone that is pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, against amnesty, against socialized medicine, and for a smaller government.

Mike Lee has proven to be a strong Conservative.
I like to see Cruz appoint Sarah Palin Sec. of State!
...then watch the Democrat "War On Women".
To: ken5050
West would be a good choice. Florida has morphed into a swing state so Cruz needs somebody from a swing state. Walker would be good or somebody from OH.

Carson or West would be a good bet given the recent change in the political atmosphere but Zi would sure like to see Trey Goudy take Holder’s position then prosecute him and take away his Obamacare exempt status.

Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin. Doesn’t matter what order.
