If I had attended any festivities, I would have dressed appropriately. I usually wear red, white and blue of some kind from Memorial Day to July 4th.
Next time I go to Walmart, I will have to check the walking shoes, as I need something new for my feet, if I intend to walk with Busdaddy very often. I’d rather walk with him than walk alone. Silly me.

Yup.
Someday the Omega Freeper, the freeper of the end, will walk down hat road, his duster flapping in the wind.
But that day isn’t today.

Sally will have the veteran pictures uploaded today. She mumbled something about bandwidth or wavelengths earlier; I think it’s an excuse to get on the computer again later!
We were talking about World War II at the Missionaries of the Poor this morning. A young Brother from Kenya asked about Belgium, because they’re playing a soccer game today, and a man and I explained about the German attacks and the Battle of the Bulge. The man - didn’t catch his name, he goes to another parish - had actually been to Russia and seen some of the battlefields there.

Dang...
I go to the store and upon my return I find the castle vacant and only a few dust bunnies lurking in nooks and crannies (not to be confused with dust rabbitoids which are, umm, different..)

My mother goes out walking in the mornings with a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge.

Every day I fight the Battle of the Bulge.
I am losing... :(

I sympathize. I make advances, but then the wine and pretzels counterattack and I have to fall back.
