After making a small fortune out of being wrong over predictions of doom because of overpopulation, Stanford University Professor Paul Ehrlich is embracing the lunatic fringe of environmentalism, perhaps noting that Al Gore has made a large fortune out of another wacko doomsday cult. Sean Long of Newsbusters reports:
Ehrlich, a Stanford University biologist famous for his widely debunked book The Population Bomb, doubled down on his climate change and overpopulation fear-mongering with HuffPost Live on May 21.

It doesn’t matter how wrong and it doesn’t matter how often. They keep coming back for more. Bless their hearts.
Stanford certainly must be scraping the bottom of the academic barrel if they are still paying this old fraud for his baloney. Alums must be so proud that one of the 20th century’s biggest hoaxers is on that faculty.
Hopefully worms will be eating Paul soon.
It’s all part of the ‘green’ movement—Soylent Green that is.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just received an e-mail that claims that “if the Greenland glaciers would melt, , entirely, then all of New York and Los Angeles and Jacksonville and Miami would be gone.” And this is a reason to STOP global warming?
As Barry Goldwater once said, the best thing to happen to this country would be to saw off the eastern seaboard, float it out into the Atlantic and sink it. Living in the Jacksonville area of Florida, I dont lump it, nor Savannah nor Charleston and the area south of about Norfolk with the area that Goldwater meant but think what a boon it would be for the country to have the coastal one hundred mile strip from Washington to Boston suddenly under water. In one fell swoop wed be rid of Andrew Cuomo, Bill DiBlasio, the remainder of the Kennedys, Billary, The New York Times, Washington Post, Chuckles Schumer, Sheldon Whitehouse, Deval Patrick, Jack Reed, etc. Then turning to the West Coast, if they could throw in San Francisco & Seattle, wed be rid of Dianne Feinstein, Bill Gates, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters and the list could go on.
YES!!!!!! YES!!!!!! YES!!!!!! Lets go Global Warming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wait a minute. I thought the dead were going to eat the living. Isn’t that what the zombie craze is telling us?
where’s Manbearpig with his glowbull warming?
Hey Ehrlich! Eat me!!
Our problem isn’t with Ehrlich. It’s with who buys his books.
Medium rare please...but first, can we start with a Bloomin’ Onion?
Planned Parenthood with a drive-thru window??
Nature will not let overpopulation happen. Disease, human nature, and natural disasters will handle that quite effectively. Disasters are part of the process just like hurricanes are part of the natural process of coral reef development. The destruction allows for not just population control, but also ensures natures, or god’s, best design to succeed. Nature is always testing its creatures survival. Every living system on this planet is subject to natural cyclical destruction. Its the reason we don’t have dinosaurs walking around. Things may get out of wack on a small scale but eventually that hurricane comes to create room for new life or space for the efficient to continue its life cycle.
In a way, viruses do the same. They are the great genetic playground where DNS is passed, swapped, and traded like toys. Again we see nature, or god, in action. Those that survive devastating viral infections are deemed worthy of survival. There is a set of rules at play, in this game, that puny little humans cannot begin to understand or comprehend. Like the Bible says about the nature of God, man cannot understand. The actions of viruses is dictated by an all knowing, endless set of mathematics that always plays for balance, which is why I hate genetic manipulation so much. It is essentially breaking the rules and we lack that cosmic knowledge and foresight to see the possible ramifications of playing god, or mother nature. We see things on such a tiny scale, whether looking at the past and present. God, or nature, looks both ways into infinity. That is what makes predictions like this so laughable. These predictions, like that of climate research, use data sets that are tiny enough to be deemed insignificant and unreliable. That is why they are typically wrong. Nobody knows what is around the corner but God and or nature.
I remember seeing Ehrlich on the Tonight Show. He had the look in his eyes of a fanatic. But he fooled many people. And got rich doing so.
Has ther been a thorough DNA investigation of the Gosnell kitchen? I have grave suspicions.
Eww
