Woops! Looks like another batch of email obtained by Judicial Watch shows Democratic operatives deeply involved in yet another phony scandal. The Daily Caller says old Senator Carl Levin (D - Michigan) pressured the IRS to prosecute persecute conservative groups:
Levin, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ permanent subcommittee on investigations, wrote a March 30, 2012 letter to then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman discussing the “urgency” of the issue of possible political activity by nonprofit applicants. Levin asked if the IRS was sending out additional information requests to applicant groups and citing an IRS rejection letter to a conservative group as an example of how the IRS should be conducting its business.

What would possess a man, who works so hard to look enough like Benjamin Franklin to be his offspring, to undermine our Republic?
Maybe he’s just trying to protect us from those dangerous, unruly Tea Party mobs,
And thinks that using the IRS to persecute them is the best way to do that.
Or maybe he just thinks it’s time for the voices of freedom and opposition to just “shut up.”

The republicans would have targeted the same tea party groups. Any investigation will be strictly for show, to get the rubes to think the government is honest, etc.
Absurd. Look at the noble profile of Ben Franklin, who was a very handsome and athletic man in his youth. Levin has always looked like a hunched over ferret.
The term “Dog Whistle” has come to the fore in recent months. Senator Levin has ‘stated’ that his effort was an unbiased effort only to get these interest groups under control, particularly following the “Citizens United” US Supreme Court decision. Obviously, the dog whistle in this case was to have these pro-big government bureaucrats follow the obvious bread-crumb trail to the non-liberal groups.
The 10% IRS audit rates of Tea Party members, the constant delay of final decisions on the IRS 501(c)# status, intrusive (to illegal) queries about memberships, voting records and speakers, all go to show how successful this effort has been. My view is that this IS THE GREATEST ABUSE of governmental power PERIOD! As a cause celeb, the elimination of the IRS becomes much more necessary with each revelation!
Levin needs to do 10 years in prison.

Right there. They are so powerful that I fear if we manage to get back in power America will have been transformed so far it would take generation to reverse.
During the Romney vs King Obama, I tried to stress the lesser of the two evils and got static. So here we are, and it will happen over again with Hitlery. Unless Americans wake up it will be the same as the Romney attempt to at least make some restoration first with criminals in the King Obama empire being charged and jailed. If 2016 Obamacare is not repealed and all the associated regulation America is finished and we will forever remain a communists empire.
