Adam Nagourney of New York Times, who has been a "deadbeat journalist" since before the Clinton impeachment wars, apparently got his marching orders from somewhere to produce a hit piece on Cliven Bundy.
Nagourney, who fought on the side of the Clinton media forces back in 1998-1999, comes out smearing:
...Mr. Bundy’s standoff with federal rangers — propelled into the national spotlight in part by steady coverage by Fox News...
Since national politicians have started to come out on the side of Cliven, it appears that the government thugs who are after Cliven Bundy needed to do something to isolate Bundy.
Nagourney, a notorious, longtime Lefty hack "journalist", appeared to fill the bill. He sets the stage for the killshot on Bundy with a paragraph or two, then cuts right to the chase with a shrill, amplified Lefty dog whistle:
CLIVEN BUNDY IS A RACIST!!!
Nagourney then cuts to the politicians furiously backing away.
Mission Accomplished, in 12 paragraphs. Nagourney's many years as a mercenary propagandist for the Left pays off.
The rest of the "article" was phoned in, because Nagourney knew his primary purpose was fulfilled.

There are new rumors going around about Cliven. We all know that with the media, words are taken out of context, meanings are twisted, and they can take anything and turn it into what they want it to be. Cliven is a good man, he loves all people, he is not a racist man. He wants what is best for everyone.

No, he didn’t. He didn’t say he was misquoted (because he wasn’t), he said he was taken out of context. While that may be true, there’s really no defense for certain of his statements (talking about “family life” of slaves, etc.), whatever the context.
I was there during the Watts riots from start to finish and was escorted out of the hood by freedom fighters. When I go into Las Vegas and pass the housing and urban development center, I see people who are down with the struggle, sitting out on their porches because they've got nothing else to do.....fathers and sons incarcerated.....unplanned pregnancies terminated to keep the mother from being burdened with the child and I wonder, have they been failed by this government since slavery? Have we plucked them from the cotton field and removed their dignity by making them dependent on government?
You cant draw any conclusion yourself legitimately UNTIL you HEAR what Mr. Bundy actually said - in his extensive explanation.
Of course, the whole uproar is about low-life progressives trying to dig themselves out of their hole.

Did he deny saying it or did he say he was misquoted or did he say that wasn't what he meant?
When Bundy “wonders” about having a work structure or having jobs, being it be slavery, versus, socialized government handouts and idle hands what makes a better life between them? He didn’t say being a slave is peaches and cream and he wants people to be or should be slaves. No.
The question he posed rhetorically here is baneful, idled socialism v. work, jobs, that brings self-worth. When listening minutes before the ‘slave’ comment and minutes after the “slave” comment you get his true thoughts in context.
99 out 100 times when leftist are desperate they throw out BS.
This must be what Harry Reid meant when he promised that it wasn’t over with Bundy. Wonder if Reid had to embezzle any additional funds from his “campaign” slush fund to bribe Nagourney to write the piece?

MSM has given conservatives reason to doubt their reports. However, it still surprises me how many people are immediately ready to call an unpleasant report from the MSM a lie, or to accept an article that clearly tells only one side of a story, without doing even a tiny amount of research.
