When Bundy “wonders” about having a work structure or having jobs, being it be slavery, versus, socialized government handouts and idle hands what makes a better life between them? He didn’t say being a slave is peaches and cream and he wants people to be or should be slaves. No.
The question he posed rhetorically here is baneful, idled socialism v. work, jobs, that brings self-worth. When listening minutes before the ‘slave’ comment and minutes after the “slave” comment you get his true thoughts in context.
