I don't think I can be any more strongly in favor of the second amendment than I am now, but I'm also not very knowledgeable about guns...
So I'm going out on a limb when I say this guy is doing it right.

Because liberals do not like guns, they resort to tear inducing pillow biting.

This is excellent advice for firearms, but don’t do this with air rifles. Today’s air rifles use pressure high enough to initiate dieseling. An air rifle designed to shoot a pellet at 1200 fps may launch a pellet at 1800 or 2000 fps if small amounts of lubricating oil is on the side walls of the compression piston (spring or gas piston). This will make the gun very loud and the pellet may tumble.

Wd-40 dries out and leaves no protection. It’s primary purpose is water displacement.

I knew a guy who claimed he'd put a drop of ether starting fluid in the chamber. Never saw it done.

Cool.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a spray like this that if you sprayed it on Socialists they'd become freedom lovers.

Serious gun owners use Mil-Com Synthetic lubricants and greases for firearms. Good stuff.

WD-40 actually does a good job of REMOVING lubricants. I even use it to get petroleum stains out of clothes.
If you want to destroy an air-tool, spray WD-40 in it. I learned that after loaning a few out.
