Look up Serotonin Syndrome. It's as bad as taking LSD if it occurs. What can trigger it? Something as simple as being on antidepressants and taking an OTC cough medication among other things or just an intolerance to the med itself. I've seen someone go through it. The person under the right conditions could have killed. Why? Because she was seeing the devil.
“Army Secretary John McHugh said Lopez did not see combat in Iraq. He was not wounded in action while serving overseas, but self-reported a traumatic brain injury upon his return to the U.S. “He was not a wounded warrior,” said Lt. Gen. Mark Milley, the senior officer at Fort Hood. “He was not wounded in action, to our records, no Purple Heart, not wounded in action in that regard.”
I understand the “offical” response. It’s just that if he “self-reported a traumatic brain injury” there should be some information as to what he claimed caused it. Would he be allowed to just say: “ I got a brain injury “ and not give any details how it happened?
Right. Was he in a car accident? Did something fall on his head? Did he get in a fight? Who knows.
Yeah, and I take an aspirin, a vitamin and Benicar...so what? What ever happened to just getting PO’d without drugs?
another CLINTON turd.... He is the one who disarmed the military bases. He also built the “wall” between the CIA and FBI.. he and Jamie Gorelick gave us 9/11/01 and his lovely wife gave us Benghazi... they get a pass in the media and Hilary has a faux brain condition and resigns.... but will resurface for 2016.... what drugs is she on???????
Thanks for the link. People take ambien, go to bed and wake up in jail after crashing their car. The person remembers nothing. Youtube will provide hours of freaky stuff people do on ambien. And that is just one of many perscription acid trip drugs.
Scary.
Democrats Moving Towards Mental Health and Away From Gun Control to Prevent Mass Shootings

whats this? The Democrats are finally talking just a little bit of sense? According to a recent POLITICO piece, the conversation in Washington is moving away from gun control and towards a conversation about mental health.
According to POLITICO,
The push now is to identify those who might become violent before they act, especially when the military is involved whether thats a contractor who the police identified as unstable, like the Navy Yard shooter, or the gunman who had been treated by a psychologist at Fort Hood.
We need to be honest with ourselves and with you and hold ourselves accountable, Army Secretary John McHugh told the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday If we identify new challenges, new threats that we hadnt recognized before, we need to put into place new programs to respond
The approach is in stark contrast to just a few years ago, when Obama believed he could push a significant gun control package through Congress after a shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut shocked Americas collective conscience.
Even Democratic lawmakers who have been victims of violence using a gun are shying away from gun control as an issue, also from POLITICO,
Rep. Ron Barber (D-Ariz.), who was shot alongside former Rep. Gabby Giffords in a Tucson, Ariz., parking lot, said the mental health focus should be on treatment and prevention not guns.
Thats a much more complicated issue, and we need to go slow on that, he said when asked about the need for new federal regulations that restrict the mentally ill from getting their hands on such. The key is early identification, diagnosis and treatments and when we do that we can avert these tragedies.
Of course, gun owners, the NRA (and other gun rights groups) along with many Republican and Libertarian lawmakers have been saying these things all along. Of course the problem is the people using guns to do bad things. Of course, as gun owners, we do have to be vigilant for backdoor gun control disguised as something else, but all in all, its good to see a shift in the conversation in Washington.
Soldiers: Obamas Biggest Critics?
The results of this study might not come as a surprise to millions of Americans who recognize the Obama administrations attack on the military.

Despite the lefts continuous disparagement of George W. Bushs handling of the military, those brave men and women who defend our freedom overwhelmingly considered him a more capable leader than Barack Obama.
According to a new Washington Post/Kaiser Family Foundation poll, two out of three soldiers believe Bush was a good commander-in-chief. A mere 42 percent of respondents feel the same way about Obama, with about half declaring he is doing a bad job in the role.
Furthermore, less than one in three Iraq and Afghanistan veterans approve of Obamas job as president.
The results of this study might not come as a surprise to millions of Americans who recognize the Obama administrations attack on the military. Our current military is shrinking, both in terms of soldiers and resources, as returning veterans increasingly see their hard-earned benefits slashed in favor of an ever-expanding welfare state.
Such reductions are understandably unpopular among the nations servicemen and women. A full 83 percent opposed veterans services cuts, a sentiment expressed by millions of civilians who believe returning soldiers should receive the resources they need not to mention the respect and gratitude of their nation.
Obama has gutted the militarys leadership by stripping officers of their post due to what many consider policy disagreements. As one Coast Guard admiral recently revealed, Obama met with leaders of all military branches and informed them that anyone unwilling to support his policy of allowing gays to openly serve should step down from their position.
