Is this real because I sure have the impression that incandescent are not even sold.
Or is it because most bulbs were GE and the GE CEO works for Obama and they no longer make the inc bulbs.
Gonna check my store next time out.

Kind of late now, isn’t it? Home Depot, Lowes and most other stores here in IL have already sold out and are not restocking.

I bought some nice hybrid bulbs from Sam's Club. The CFL bulb is inside a glass envelope that looks very much like an ordinary incandescent bulb. Further, there is a small halogen incandescent bulb inside for instant on brightness, and the halogen bulb warms up the fluorescent bulb faster. after about 15 seconds the halogen bulb kicks out, and the fluorescent bulb is at full brightness.
Of course, the drawback is that they are 5 bucks apiece.

I'm waiting for affordable LEDs. Our electric co op sent a few of the curly bulb and they didn't last long.

So why don’t they also cut off funds for Michelle’s family vacations, Obamacare enforcement, etc.? The house controls all this the same way...purse strings. Yet they continue to fund the EPA and the IRS. So simple, give us the emails by next Thursday or we cut your funding 20%. Same for DOJ...if you don’t enforce immigration laws, then reduce their funding until they do. If we can do it for light bulbs, why not for something important?

If the greens are so concerned about the environment, filling our homes with toxic mercury laden CFL bulbs would seem not to be the best idea. If you read the
EPA guidelines for cleaning up after breaking one you would never want them in your home. CFL bulbs must be disposed as a hazardous waste, but I'm sure most will be just thrown out with the trash and end up contaminating landfills and ground water with mercury.

Cfls are junk. As anyone will tell you in cold weather they are simply junk. They don’t fully light in cold. They don’t last as long as a plain old bulb. They don’t require a hazmat team to clean up if they break. They don’t fit in fixtures. You can’t dim them. And besides. The FREE MARKET would have phased out the bulbs with new LEDs.

Crappy CFLs, perverts in blue uniforms feeling up children at airports, random police searches, and an endless war. George W Bush, the gift that keeps on giving.
