The search engine gives unpredictable results, but we also have "Latest Topics" which list from newest to oldest and has "Next page" at the bottom of each page; there are keywords and topics; and as a last resort there is Google and Bing.

I wholeheartedly agree. Being able to click on author’s name (assuming whomever posted it included that, or spelled it correctly) to list the index of all topics with that author would be excellent as well.

Also, with the web search engines, it’s simple enough to include author’s name, and (for example) some of the *article* text to end-run the problem with news source editors who change the headline.

The real issue for me is important information that I’d like to see conservatives aware of or conservatives motivated by.

So, if it’s on a sidebar, drifts away from attention, and then gets put back up so it’s again front and center and getting attention, then I’m ok with it.

The question with that idea is how many threads really reach that level of importance? I doubt it’s that many, and the mods, rather than allowing a 4 hour rule could keep bumping them to the top of the sidebar. The Lord only knows how to pick the ones to designate for favorite son treatment.

Simple programming change: An article won’t post unless you include three keywords. Usually when you see a duplicate the first one posted has no keywords listed.
