Police shot and killed a man after he opened fire and struck a police dog in Anaheim Thursday, officials said.
The incident began when probation officers were conducting a search in the 1120 block of Mayfair Avenue about 2 p.m., according to the Anaheim Police Department.

In defense of the Jack Booted Armed & Dangerous, after a man shoots your dog, and you are in the same alley, what might you assume he would do to you?

As for the killing of a crook who was armed and clearly willing to use the gun, I think a box of donuts should be awarded - think of the prison costs not charged to the tax payers!
Coinidentally, he got involved in the prison ministry, and became born again. He refuses to attend his parole hearings and he has said that he deserves to be in jail

You can criticize other LE offices for shooting dogs but not Anaheim’s. They are pretty empathetic in dealing with dogs.
