Edward Murrow apparently didn't have the intestinal fortitude to tackle the subject of "Bronies." However, the winner of the Cronkite Award for Excellence in Exploration and Journalism about five minutes after his debut on MSNBC, Ronan Farrow, dared to investigate from deep inside the world of Bronies. Forget a missing Malaysian airliner, phony Obamacare numbers, or Russia grabbing Crimea. Farrow reveals a topic of real importance.
So what is a Brony? I could explain it briefly to you but the humiliation would overwhelm me. As a guy who has been caught up in this fandom for two years now I think I'm qualified to enlighten you all as to what's going on:
First, My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic is NOT the hideous show of the '80s and '90s. It is an amazingly good show.
Second, this isn't a gay thing, it's a nerd thing. The central character is a nerd who gets sent to a small town to learn about friendship.
Third, the fandom is amazing. I have a hard time keeping up with the flood of art, music and videos that they create. there is also a great deal of charity activity.

It is pretty sick what Hollywood is habituating into the psyche of kids, especially boys.....why parents allow the TV to shape their perceptions of Reality is beyond me....what warped little minds these people will have. Throw out the TV and have them engage the WHOLE mind and interact with humans, not engage a miniscule amount of brain which retards their senses and conceptions of the World.
Give the boys the “Autobiography of Daniel Boone” for God’s sake.
Instead, Hollywood and public schools feed them the “ Diary of a Whimpy Kid” series and cr*ppola 24/7.
As one “Whimpy” reviewer put it: “This is the junk food of books for children: immediately satisfying, yet in the end, a pollutant, causing distaste for that which helps them in the end. This is shallow, simple writing that actually discourages intellectual curiosity, and makes other books seem “boring.”
Most TV programs/cartoons/children’s programs discourage intellectual growth, retard the brain, and should be extremely rarely used in their childhood. You do know the extremely wealthy send their tykes to Waldorf type schools which don’t allow TV or Computers until AFTER 12 or later.
What do they KNOW that all the dummies who make they filthy rich don’t know. IT IS YOUR KIDS==Wake UP-—the elites want your kids to be mentally conditioned to the point of ignorant “happy” slaves.
