MH370 Mystery: Remembering Malaysia’s Role In 9/11, And In Other Islamic Terror Plots

In January, 2000, Malaysia’s capital was where key members of Al Qaeda held their “Kuala Lumpur summit” to plan the bombing of the USS Cole that October, as well as the later attacks of 9/11/01. In light of this, and other facts pointing to Kuala Lumpur playing host to a hotbed of Islamic terrorists over the years, the baffling mystery of the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 provokes renewed scrutiny of Kuala Lumpur in fostering international terrorism to date.

In this context, Malaysia’s Islamic government and prevailing majority Mohammedan culture comes across as either grossly incompetent, or even somewhat complicit in the aura of suspicion surrounding this and other episodes.

For example, as reported in The Sydney Morning Herald, top terrorism expert Carl Ungerer focuses on the fact that despite Al Qaeda bomber Ramsi Yousef (later convicted in the 1993 bombing of New York’s World Trade Center) having used a stolen Italian passport to gain access to and plant a bomb on board a Philippine Airlines passenger flight in 1994, Malaysian officials apparently missed (or weren’t especially concerned about) two Iranians who using stolen Italian and Austrian passports to board flight MH370 a week ago–passports which were already on record as being stolen.

Furthermore, it wasn’t until Western media reporters confronted Malaysian authorities, over the course of the past week, as to whether the homes of the pilots of missing flight MH370 had been searched by police that the Malaysians finally changed their tune from saying they hadn’t, to saying that the pilots’ homes are now being examined for clues about the plane’s disappearance.

According to the FBI, and as documented by many other authoritative sources, Kuala Lumpur has been a significant breeding & recruiting nest of Al Qaeda and Jemaah Islamiya terrorist groups over the years. According to Derek Henry Flood’s article titled “Malaysia’s forgotten, forgiven 9/11 history” which appeared on Sept. 11, 2010 in Asia Times Online, in addition to the notorious “Kuala Lumpur summit” of 2000, there have been other terrorist meetings there.

In 2009 and early 2010, two separate groups of six and nine suspected terrorists from various countries were meeting up in Kuala Lumpur for planning conferences, that is until the Malaysian authorities broke up the meetings. Attendees of the 2010 gathering have been said to be connected to the failed 2009 Christmas Day underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallub, who tried to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit as it arrived from Amsterdam. Other reports have connected the foiled “Bojinka” coordinated plane bombing plot to meetings held in Kuala Lumpur.

In addition to his thorough detailing of the comings and goings to Kuala Lumpur of a veritable “who’s who” of Muslim terrorists over the years, Flood’s excellent article reports that Kuala Lumpur’s suburbs are also the location of choice for mujahideen recuperating from injuries incurred during jihad:

“According to the 9/11 Commission Report, al-Qaeda leader bin Laden specifically recommended the tranquil rehab campus in Petaling Jaya to wounded Arab fighters in Afghanistan, including Khallad, as a place they could safely travel and receive treatment without questioning about the origin of their amputation injuries. Kuala Lumpur’s suburbs functioned as both rehab and rest and recreation locales, as well as places to plan future terror operations.”

Flood goes on to provide an example of how timid politically-correct Westerners act whenever Muslims claim they are insulted by us:

“When the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) later announced that Malaysia was ‘a primary operational launch pad for the September 11 attacks’, the statement offended then serving prime minister Mahathir. FBI director Robert Mueller, apparently looking to salvage cooperation with Malaysian law enforcement agents in the nascent ‘war on terror’, attempted to diffuse tensions by saying in March 2002, ‘There are a number of countries where the terrorists have met and planned, and to use the word ‘launch pad’ is certainly inaccurate” in Malaysia’s case.’”

In a twist of cruel irony, Kuala Lumpur features the Petronas Towers, the tallest twin skyscrapers on the planet. Take a wild guess which famous twin towers they replaced as the champions of height.

While Malaysia’s plane and its passengers from various countries are still missing, their colossal twin towers are still standing. Meanwhile, we are all still waiting for the Islamic government of Malaysia to show us whether they are part of the problem, or part of the solution.

The Malaysia MH370 flight has probably seen more publicity than the hijackers expected. It will now be difficult to use in a terrorist attack. Difficult not impossible. Conjecture: Give it a new paint job. Put American markings on it to make it look like an American plane or even bolder, paint it to look like a US military plane. Then invader Russian airspace and have it attack Moscow.
With John Kerry’s recent bellowing of hot air over the Crimea, it could be played into the Kerry threat to Russia and the USA gets the blame. Remember muzzie terrorists hate Moscow as much as they hate Washington.
