And I’m well aware of the “good soldier” cop argument stating that theirs is not to wonder why, theirs is but to do or die (even if it kills constitutional rights). Hey, “I don’t make the laws,” says the dutiful constable, “I just enforce them.” But there’s a problem with this position. And this is why I want to give you, my friends in law enforcement, the reasoned, moral argument for “policeman nullification.”
Even good people can live lives of contradiction and entertain ideas that simply aren’t true. For instance, if you’re a cop, it’s easy to justify an action by saying that your job is only to enforce the law, especially since, on paper, this is certainly so. But the implication that you enforce every law, across the board, every time, without discretion is absolutely untrue and you, I and everyone else knows it. You don’t ticket everyone driving 31 in a 30 zone, and many times even more egregious law-breakers get off with a warning. Some laws aren’t applied at all, such as a parking law in my town an officer told me was on the books but that “we don’t enforce.” You use discretion all the time.

I’d say Peterson was just speaking his true feelings which most of the time he may hide.
You don’t pay attention much if that was your first. And 50+ years? Name calling is not always juvenile. People who claim that are usually mental midgets that are weak minded losers thinking it makes them look like they are taking the high road.

I've only been here about 20 years, and I've seen a couple unzottings.
The problem is that there are MANY contraconstitutional laws — for example, NM's constitution prohibits laws prohibiting citizens from keeping and bearing arms for security and defense… yet there are statutes which do exactly that (like on university grounds). Then there's federal government to consider; whole swaths of jurisprudence are contraconstitutional, an excellent example is the War on Drugs and the damages inflicted on constitutionally guaranteed rights in the name of justifying it.

Example of what, calling a spade a spade?
You may be a PC liberal type that thinks not being direct is productive but what has being nice gotten the conservative movement? Nothing. You don’t win fights using Queensberry Rules when your opponent is playing by schoolyard rules. With such thin skin you’ll never fight but always run from so much a harsh word.
Well, things seem to get removed from News/Activism folder and put ‘nowhere.’ Unless its from a major news site I can pretty much count on it disappearing. I have given up trying to guess what will stay and what will be removed. So, to avoid that I often post in Bloggers & Personal or General/Chat. Those are left alone.

This letter is addressed to old family Reds, central bankers, military traitors (past and present), academia, media pundits, "civil rights" activists, and "Greens." It exists in all branches of the military, in federal agencies, among civilians, and in several foreign countries.
I am an old Special Forces active duty soldier. I've worked with people in all branches of the military, alphabet soup federal agencies, police departments, and civilians. While most people I've worked with are passive supporters of resistance to your "global community," there are some who are willing to actively defend what they believe in.
I will continue to perform my appointed military duties in a professional manner. I will publicly agree with your collectivist policies and parrot your slogans. I pay my taxes, don't belong to any "militia," and won't join any "extremist" group. For all outside appearances I am one of your "global community" peasants.
Having traveled extensively I have seen firsthand the results of failed collectivist governments who have looted their countries into squalor. Most politically attuned people I know have seen it also and know that the only way you can achieve your global community is by doing the same to America. Some think resistance is futile. Maybe it is.
But we are willing to fight you, and make you pay DEARLY for your arrogance. We are moral, principled, and believe in the ORIGINAL Constitution and the philosophies that define it. You see, your mistake was that you thought we'd just mumble our oath and then contradict it when ordered to. but YOU,--you promoters of the "brotherhood of mankind"--are the enemies domestic we are sworn to defend the Constitution against.
We didn't choose you as the enemy. By your collectivist ideologies and actions, you self selected.
We pray to the God you SCORN that the day never arrives when we are finally compelled to turn against you, what you expected us to do to enemies foreign. If that day does arise, lament. For I, and others like me, have been trained in the blackest of arts, and the darkest of crafts.
Your minions are useless cattle. They cannot protect you. You cannot hide. WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE, but you'll NEVER know whether der guten soldat you hired is one of us---or not.
