I see on the packaging that these are meant for be for educational use. Well, for those who need a math tutor that comes to 3.49 cents for every FAKE penny.
What a freakin' joke. It would be cheaper for teachers to just give their students real money to count with.

I use pennies and nickels as washers for years. Only takes a second to drill a hole through and it’s cheaper.

Yet, those phony pennies would be worth as much as the billion dollar coins proposed last year.
So, why not use those phony pennies to make real purchases, like the billion dollar coins were supposed to "buy down" the federal debt?

Includes 100 $1 play money bills, 50 each of $5, $10, and $20 play money bills, and 25 each of $50 and $100 play money bills.
I was worried, maybe Shadowstats was right?
Then I saw $5600 in play money for only $7.49.

Priceless!
OTOH, the fakes are probably cheaper than having to replace real pennies the little thieves steal.

I thought about that too. What’s to say they wouldn’t steal or lose the fake ones either?
Also I’m sure there’s ways to impress upon them that it’s in their interests to not do that, if the teacher wants to put in the effort that is.

Wow! It’s all I can say. I got these pennies and poured them in my bag full of fake pennies. We have a classroom “store”, and my first graders earn pennies (later other coins) to practice good money spending and management. My students have all noticed the difference - these pennies are thicker, more detailed, and you can actually read the words!! They are also “penny” sized and not simply little brown plastic circles.
Great product!!

Those are actually illegal, they are required to have “copy” printed on them somewhere and I don’t see it...
