Obama is CHUMP CHANGE when it comes to tyranny.

Putin, on the other hand, is a PRO at it. But, then, he is Russian and has been in Russian politics for many years.

Putin is a THUG. Obama is a CHILD compared to Putin. Obama doesn't have the personality, brains or backbone to come CLOSE to the "thug-dom" of Vladimir Putin.

Putin By Far.

The U.S.A. Progressives knows Political Violence makes about Zero headway here.

So they do it slowly, with the Legal System.

If the Stormtrooper hammer came down like the Ukraine they would loose 100 years worth of work.

But in the end, the totalitarians always overplay their hand and they end up crashing too.

Obama is a much bigger tyrant. Putin is and has been the same forever. Obama makes it up as he goes along and is a much bigger liar.

Putin is very clearly the best ruler Russia has ever had since Tsar Peter. His only enemies amongst Russians are oligarchs and die-hard commies. Bork Obunga is the worst ruler any advanced state has ever had since Nero.

In pictures...

It's interesting watching this Ukrainian adventure. This is like their 3rd revolution in 10 years....and that's after becoming independent in 1991.

This is not the age of Stalin.

IMHO...These folks are like the ignorant USA folks who think FDR still runs the Dem party.

What about "Pussy Riot", you ask??

The problem with "Pussy Riot"...

You open the history book under 'G' for "groupies", and you go through the list of guys who've ever inspired groupie or fan phenomena, and you can at least understand most of it: Genghis Khan, Von Richtofen, Roberto Duran, Mick Jagger...

Anybody can understand a teenage girl or young woman going through some sort of a Mick Jagger groupie phase.

But wanting to be a George Soros groupie??? I mean, I'm sorry, that one leaves me cold, I could come closer to understanding being a Richard Nixon groupie....

Hmmm. Hard to say. Russia/USSR has been in shambles for decades so it may be harder to make things worse than they are. The U.S. has had a much faster decline in heading for “shambles” over the past 5 years. Infrastructure in Russia has been shaky for a long time. Infrastructure in the U.S. is headed there pretty quick. In Russia, you have the elite/military and the peons. In the U.S. you have the elite, upper middle class, middle middle class, lower middle class, and then the peons. Looks like the upper, middle and lower are headed toward “peonship” pretty quickly. Most of us know Putin for what he is. Sadly, too many asshats in the U.S. still can’t recognize the “lyin’king” for what he is. Or isn’t. Now, where are those 600 sqft concrete “apartments”?

Putin, we know what he’s about. No surprises with what he does. It’s a given.

I find obama to be the worst tyrant. Americans allow him to be. They caved at the dumbest reason, the race card. Americans have no spine. They’ve had it too good and for too long thus don’t know the true meaning of hard times. If Americans had a spine and became physically active, obama would not have been allowed to do one eighth of what he has done. There’s no reason why our Country should be in the mess it is in.

I do not understand the motive or cause of the "girl" punk rock group Pussy Riot. They plan to get beaten and arrested, alert the media, and then follow through with getting beaten and arrested to prove -that they can be beaten and arrested?

What's the problem? Standard tactic of non-violent civil disobedience. Pussy Riot may not have much of a grievance, but their tactics aren't something new or unfamiliar. Whether it was the serious protestors you read about in textbooks or the wannabes on college campuses today, getting beaten and arrested to arouse sympathy is part of the program.

From Wikipedia--- but I warn you beforehand this is nonsense:

"According to Tolokonnikova, Pussy Riot is "part of the global anti-capitalist movement, which consists of anarchists, Trotskyists, feminists and autonomists."[30] They use Situationist-style guerrilla performances.[31] Tolokonnikova stated:

"Pussy Riot's performances can either be called dissident art or political action that engages art forms. Either way, our performances are a kind of civic activity amidst the repressions of a corporate political system that directs its power against basic human rights and civil and political liberties.[32]"

This is nonsense. This little group of "7, up to 11" members doesn't seize worldwide publicity, no matter how entertainingly impudent they are.

IMHO, they are unknowing, expendable pawns to be used and sacrificed in a much, much bigger game.

Oh, and I did not mention Obama clamping further down on the economy by forcing up minimum wage in order to “rectify” Income Inequality.

And, how about O’s Department of Education Camp - making Public Schools even more irrelevant in the world?

Both have tyrannical elements, but you have to judge them in the context of the countries they rule. By Russian standards, Putin is actually pretty mild. By American standards, Obama is Mussolini on steroids.

Are you kidding me!??!

Pussy Riot was the only part of the Sochi Olympics that I actually watched.

I thought they were great! I love it when they are all full of protesters rage and performance energy, bouncing around proving their point to the world thru the tears of pepper spray! But after the black jack of AHTHORITI smacked 'em in the ribs, then the bouncing stops, one looks at the other with Im sure, an "Oh $hit, that friggen hurt" in her eyes as everyone involved gets schooled!

I will definatly become a groupie if they promise to get whipped into submission an escorted away where ever they go.
