I don't know how things will turn out for Ukraine, but in the US, when the flag goes up, I think we'll do OK.
Ukraine has conscription, so most adult males have at least a degree of military training and experience, and its not like guns are hard to get hold of in Eastern Europe...

When the flag goes up, there will be no "OK". There will only be the last man standing in a pile of rubble.

"LMS in a pile of rubble" is better than "supine under the remorseless boot of violent tyranny" ... but it's still no picnic. Be aware of where we're headed. I'm convinced that it's not "OK" regardless of the outcome.
