Address to Owners of Weapons

Owners of weapons,

We know that you are the most moderate and responsible part of the Ukrainian society, which so far did not participate in the standoff.

Unfortunately, however the conflict transitioned to the armed stage.

The control over the situation is effectively lost.

Now each one of us bears personal responsibility for his own safety and the safety of his family, and in this difficult time, also for the safety of his fellow countrymen.

Weaponry in the hands of responsible citizens has been in all times the bet peacemaker.

We call you to act, governed by your own convictions and all-mankind moral values and, in case of necessity, give a resolute resistance to the criminal elements. In all the rest we rely on your reason and responsibility.

Ukrainian Association of Weapon Owners

They’re getting more consideration than the citizens of the state of Connecticut. BTT

It is easy. Gun confiscation is tantamount to going to prison without due process. SWAT should only be used for defensive purposes.

The blogger says: "Whole world should see this photo!"

I have no words to describe this. This is a people's uprising in the true sense. Hundreds of people, mostly women and the elderly on the corner of Institutskaya and Bankova streets formed human chains and pass forward cobblestones to fight off Berkut (the militarized police). Are they whom Yanukovich intends to fight?

“I don’t know how things will turn out for Ukraine, but in the US, when the flag goes up, I think we’ll do OK.”

“Ownership of guns in Ukraine: 6.6 per 100 people.
Ownership of guns in USA: 101 per 100 people.”

Ownership of bullets by the Federal government: ~3000 per 100 people.

For purposes of providing some balance, here is a video of anti-government “activists” firing at police from behind the curtain of a hotel window.

There are a lot more American people than there are fedgov jack-booted thugs and we have a LOT more guns and ammo than they do.

Bring it owebama. I’m tired of waiting.

I figured it was something like that, but I thought the spanking thing was funnier. :)
