Owners of weapons,
We know that you are the most moderate and responsible part of the Ukrainian society, which so far did not participate in the standoff.
Unfortunately, however the conflict transitioned to the armed stage.
The control over the situation is effectively lost.
Now each one of us bears personal responsibility for his own safety and the safety of his family, and in this difficult time, also for the safety of his fellow countrymen.
Weaponry in the hands of responsible citizens has been in all times the bet peacemaker.
We call you to act, governed by your own convictions and all-mankind moral values and, in case of necessity, give a resolute resistance to the criminal elements. In all the rest we rely on your reason and responsibility.

This is one victim:
This is another:
Her name is Yekaterina Bolshakova (Link)
You are right. This photo says a lot.
Prayers up for these people.
Didn't look like they were aiming too carefully either. I wonder how many civilian injuries they caused.
Some of the government snipers are taking much better aim to injure civilians.
Great photos. Thanks for sharing this information.
WHAT IS A PATRIOT?
PATRIOTS are not "Revolutionaries" trying to overthrow the government of the United States.
PATRIOTS are "Counter-Revolutionaries" trying to prevent the government of the United States, from overthrowing the Constitution of the United States. - Unknown Author
If you have a ping list for this Ukrainian situation, please add me to it.
Thanks
When the flag goes up, there will be no "OK". There will only be the last man standing in a pile of rubble.
Just so's you know.
"LMS in a pile of rubble" is better than "supine under the remorseless boot of violent tyranny" ... but it's still no picnic. Be aware of where we're headed. I'm convinced that it's not "OK" regardless of the outcome.

Did someone pointing a video camera out of a hotel window at police during a riot really get a gun pointed back at them?
That changes everything...

Lets be clear, the only ‘tyranny’ being imposed in Ukraine is by those trying to violently overthrow the elected government...with funding & logistics from Uncle Sam and Aunt Merkel.
IMHO...
The gathering was organized by the political factions whose leadership called for the protest.
If the Republican party leadership organizes an event, a lot of Republican rank-and-file show up.
Republican rank-and-file is then routinely sold out to globalists by the party leadership.
From what I see, that’s what’s happening to these poor folks.
It may be 5, 10, 15 years before they regret the changes that come out of this, but they will.
Exiting the EU will be much harder than joining it.
Russia, in the end, will be merged in as well, it’s just a matter of how and when (the easy way or the hard way).
A lot of folks keep talking about Americans making some “stand” when they come to confiscate guns. They don’t realize the confiscation has been happening slowly for a hundred years. It will continue slowly. Your own “conservative” leadership - in your local town and state - will slowly make ordinances and state laws that gradually take away the ability to effectively resist anything. As the years roll by, the older folks who really “cling” to guns will age and die, and their offspring are gradually brainwashed into registring guns, accepting local ordinances on guns, etc. It won’t happen in one fell swoop which causes a big battle. Resistance to government will just slowly fade away. Not because Democrats are so “smart”, but because globalist financial elites are so smart, and patient to work plans for generations.
The poor Ukrainians will see their personal wealth shrink, cost of living go up, net pay go down, welfare programs become “austere”.
I don’t know if they’ll ever even understand that their parties are selling them out.
Of course, the party in power that wants to keep being supported by Russia is the same thing, just as bad, just a different sugar daddy.
So many sellouts, so much corruption, so few honest, true “outsiders”. You think you found an outsider, and it turns out they’re lying.
Come to think of it, the US has the same basic problems.
No I don’t have a specific ping list. I have a general list described in my post #2, which often has an emphasis on foreign Internet material, but it is in no way dedicated to Ukraine nor any other particular country.
Do you seriously think that these people risk serious injuries or death because someone paid them to?
No. Western involvement with fomenting this crisis is more insidious than that.
Ukraine’s Parliament has voted unanimously to remove Yanukovych from office... new elections are being held on May 25.
That democratic enough for you.? :-)
Did the mob outside of parliament howl with approval?
/smh
