The permanent political class in D.C. won't listen. So, let's start putting our efforts behind good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their pockets, but to help restore our country. It's time to put inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity over incumbency in the GOP.

You're never going to get everything to want from the Tea Party or "conservatives" or anything else. You have to decide what are the most important things. A lot of our little pet peeves will probably actually go away once the big gorilla government is effectively dealt with.

That's the best explanation I've seen. I gather then that they are pro-choice and against government involvement.
"Pro-choice" is another Leftists misnomer - I like to say to the feminazis, "Your body, your choice ends where the baby's body begins." Most of us believe, I think, that a healthy society values individual freedom as long as it doesn't interfere with another's life or freedom. The only real purpose for government is to protect our God-given freedoms. So (state) laws against killing or harming others are just laws and the courts are there also to settle civil disputes.

There is a March On Washington planned for May 16. If we can’t do anything definitive before then, lets turn out in droves to make our voices heard. Pass the word.
Legislatures, state and federal, should be part-time with 1/10 or zero pay, no perks, no pensions, no medical, volunteer staff, etc., etc. Let them have a real job with time off to meet. Then they can do something productive instead of progressive/destructive.

The Constitution does not delegate issues of abortion or murder to the federal government. If it is not a power delegated to the federal government by the Constitution, then it is not a federal issue but a states issue.

Very true but... the second sentence in the document that declared our Independence from King George clearly states three INALIENABLE RIGHTS BESTOWED BY GOD. What is the first right mentioned in the second sentence ever put to paper by what was to become the United States of America?
