John Kerry slammed “extreme” climate change “deniers” in Indonesia Sunday, calling them members of the “Flat Earth Society.”
Mr. Kerry, speaking in Jakarta, demonized those who do not believe in climate change, claiming they were “hijacking the climate conversation” and were being paid by “big companies.”
“We should not allow a tiny minority of shoddy scientists and science and extreme ideologues to compete with scientific facts,” he warned. “Nor should we allow any room for those who think that the costs associated with doing the right thing outweigh the benefits.”
Mr. Kerry then exclaimed, “The science is unequivocal, and those who refuse to believe it are simply burying their heads in the sand. We don’t have time for a meeting anywhere of the Flat Earth Society.”

What they really mean is anthropogenic climate change. That human beings are changing the climate.
All I have to do is look at the ice ages to know that climate changes. What’s surprising about that? Nothing.

This is a statement that a Scientist does not ever make.
We as Scientists are always skeptical, and continually try to find a better test of an idea.
Global Warming, Global Cooling and Climate Change are all ideas that Politicians have used to extort tax dollars from the populations of their various Countries.
None of the three above mentioned Weather ideas has had a single, objectively testable, documented, published, Cause and Effect.
GW, GC and CC have all failed to move from junk science speculation to the higher level of a serious hypothesis.
All three weather speculations are just that: weather speculations.

JUNK SCIENCE: The use of invalid scientific evidence resulting in findings of causation
EXPERT: Career Politician who has no scientific credentials or training, but who stands to profit greatly from peddling the latest academic snake oil.
The amusing thing is that this relies the the historically and scientifically ignorant myth that there was a widespread belief that the earth was flat until the age of exploration.
In fact, the roundness of the earth has been well known since ancient times.
