They never made ‘em like her before or after.
LOL. Read her autobiography. She was very intelligent and articulate. She made some mistakes like everyone, but what an exciting, interesting, exceptional life!!!!
I always liked her and thought her movies were uplifting.
I came to realize when I became older in life, her popularity against the backdrop of a depression and its aftermath was pleasant distraction for the affected populace.
Today, I realize something like that could not occur because blacks, hispanics and other minorities would be complaining about her being white, not enough black, gay or whatever actors and demanding government funding for a corresponding movie that supports a ‘fair opportunity’ while concurrently demanding punitive sanctions against the “white girl”.
i can’t believe her parents named her after a cocktail though.
i really don’t get that, or why she didn’t change her name.
I hope the angels welcomed her into heaven. I knew her a little bit. She was as nice as they say.
