Since the prayers that are said when praying the Rosary are made of quotations from Scripture, what are you talking about?

Since the events that one meditates on while praying the Rosary are all incidents in the gospels, what are you talking about?

I know: What you are talking about is ignorant, smug, malevolent, self-righteous Catholic-bashing.

While it has been successfully adapted to use in a communal setting, the rosary is a private devotion, albeit a beautiful and useful one.

The Eucharist, on the other hand, is the central corporate act of worship of the Church. It is not a dereliction of duty, it seems to me, for a priest to keep the focus of his preaching on things that are of a more common interest.
