Since the prayers that are said when praying the Rosary are made of quotations from Scripture, what are you talking about?

Since the events that one meditates on while praying the Rosary are all incidents in the gospels, what are you talking about?

I know: What you are talking about is ignorant, smug, malevolent, self-righteous Catholic-bashing.

I can get what your looking for by focusing on the One who died for my sins.

I'll tell you what, why don't you skip the middle man, or the substitutionary toy, and go right to the source.

Jesus after all, is the way, the truth, and the life.

Try as you may, NO ONE GETS TO THE FATHER ACCEPT THROUGH HIM (John 4:6)

Why create some new way to reach, or meditate upon Him when when all you need is HIM?

All you are doing is paying someone money for a trinket that you have been convinced by the Catholic church will get you closer to Him. That is why it was created.

The church needed a new way to get more money, so they invented the rosary, that at the time you could only get through them, and told you that you could use it to meditate with.

I can be naked, in the middle of the desert, with nothing but the air I breath, and I can be closer to Him then you ever could be with a necklace.

When I think of the rosary, I am reminded of the little tune that John Tetsel came up with when the church needed more money to pay for all its extravagant expenditures.

"As soon as a coin in the coffer rings / the soul from purgatory springs"

Look, if you need some object to feel like you are close to God, go ahead and do what you desire, but my faith is so strong that all I need to do is think on Him and I know that he is there listening, comforting, and blessing me.

Why would you want to pray to the creation when you can pray to the Creator???

Why would anyone pray to the mother of Jesus when God encourages us to pray to Him???

What is the disconnect between Catholics and God???

All those hours spent praying to Mary could be used to pray directly to God...

It’s pretty weird that Mary is at the top of the list to receive prayer...

How could we accept you guys/girls as brothers/sisters in Christ when you won’t even talk to Jesus Christ???
