Some of them understand “liberalism exposed is liberalism defeated”,
but others simply block out this exposure because they’re just in it for the self-righteous feelings.

How true. It forces me to have some grudging respect for guys like Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders, who are at least open and consistent.
