Rand Paul and Ted Cruz Tell Sean Hannity: We'll "Stay Out Of Any GOP Primary"
http://wp.me/p1kzlW-jNW @TheLastRefuge2
So, is this about the upcoming 2014 Congressional races, or is this about the 2016 national elections?
Can anyone guess?
Or is this the result of a deal cut between Boehner and the conservatives?
Can anyone guess?

I don’t pay attention to tweets. Find me a legitimate news source.
Then we’ll see.
If Boehner can cut a deal with purported conservatives, then the purported conservatives could not have been conservatives.
I’m praying for a third party run.
The upcoming 2014 Congressional races.
Cruz made it clear that he would avoid getting involved in any Republican primaries about six weeks ago.
As I read it, the primary purpose is to avoid getting involved in Cornyn's primary. There's no "deal" with Boehner or McConnell.
If you want to be president, you really have to run and lose but lose in a good way and then the next time is when you are ready to run and win.
When you run the 1st time, you message is not focused, people don’t know you and therefore don’t trust you, you monetary supporters are few and far between.
the second time around, you have been vetted, you stay on message, you have made a lot of allies and now you can add even more to the ones you made the first time.
Now you are ready to win.
So Paul and Cruz staying out means they are out in 2014 congressional primaries. But if they have their eyes on 2020 or 2024, they must run in 2016 and finish well.
Note, that only applies to primaries with incumbent Republicans, NOT open primaries. Rand Paul has already endorsed Greg Brannon in North Carolina running against Kay Hagan
so what you’re saying is, that Romney should run again.
We’ll “Stay Out Of Any GOP Primary”

Meaning they will run as Conservatives ???
I saw them on Hannity, it was at the very end of the segment and they both had only seconds left so they didn’t elaborate.
They were asked about mid term elections, they said they were going to stay out of incumbent races. That leaves them the option of helping newcommers.
Makes sense, they don’t want more enemies who are likely to be re-elected.
What you say may be true. But for Repubs only.
Carter was a nobody. He ran and won. Same with Billy Jeff. And for B. Hussein.
Al Gore - on the other hand - was expected to win. He didn’t. Neither did Hillary.
So is Hillary.
“legitimate news source”
Good luck with that one.
REGARDLESS of who is in the White House, FedGov grows bigger, stronger, and takes more of our freedom away. Regardless of the occupant, FedGov spends more, spies on its citizens more, blows up more people, and infringes more fundamental rights for more citizens.
Voting is IRRELEVANT at the Federal level now.
Cornyn isn’t running. He is battling yet another cancer.
This article link is from August of last year.
maybe they are talking about OTHER GOP candidate’s primaries in 2014? as Senators and incumbants NOT taking sides??
If so I agree, sort of.
It should be all about what the GOP in the district or state want, not what the already elected GOP incumbants outside the district want them to want.
Yet, I am a little bit of a hypocrite on this ‘cause I always supported Jim Demint’s Senate Conservatives PAC, even though he was an incumbant himself at the time. At least he was doing so as a truly independent GOP voice and not as a voice of the party establishment, which Jim correctly saw as always out there working against the GOP conservative base. Like Jim I guess in supporting him I was caught between two conflicting principals - one wanting the party officials to not take sides in the primaries, because it only stirs up internal divisions, not sooth them, and the other supporting an incumbant and his PAC out of appreciation that the RNC and the official GOP Senate campaign body WERE NOT keeping out of taking sides in the primaries, to the detriment of Conservative candidates.
They were discussing whether to support Tea Party candidates over incumbents, not whether they would run for president.
It refers to the Hannity show of Tuesday or Wednesday, after the SOTU.
