Indian engineering education is draped in a cloth that needs a proper wash!
While scanning the list of alumni of IIT recently, I came across a few names that have peppered the leaves of successful mens list but their contributions are far away in foreign lands. While combing through the facts I found that most of these elite men do not reside in their own land, and a major chunk is holding high profiles in the Unites States of America.

They tend to be hard working, decent, competent people who have made tremendous contributions to my industry and many others.
How about the guys from the “Learn Java in 2 Weeks” place over the dosa shop? I think we have a couple of them in the US as well.
Indian nationals who came to the US 30,40 years ago have told me that it was exceptionally difficult then to do so, you not only had to be in the top fraction of 1$ but also very lucky. Now it’s much easier, and as long as they follow immigration law, it’s a win-win.
That website needs cleansing. It’s hard to find the content among the ads.
Simple answer is that US universities aren’t turning out many engineers hence there is a ready market for people with these skills. It would seem that US colleges and universities are pushing students into worthless degrees like peace studies, womyn’s studies etc.
Don’t worry. Obama’s working on making this country less attractive to entrepreneurial foreigners, while opening the doors to the poor, the weak, the huddled masses looking for a handout,
Kudos to you for managing to see many of these Indian workers for who they are.
This cannot be possible, Indians have dark skin and are clearly minorities, super minorities compared to are main stream minorities, therefore it is impossible that they are not victims
