Selfish, covetous and greedy porcupine won't share his corn
Awwww... Teddy really likes his corn. I have to admit..those little sounds are adorable! Thanks for posting, rickmichaels!
*ping* for later!
He looks and sounds like an Ewok.
His last little phrase/squeaking sounds like “Get back”. I know they are just animal sounds but they are adorable.
For the sake of my dog, I’m real glad we don’t see them this far south.
Doesn’t he know that Obama wants to spread the wealth?
I realize they are cute and cuddly, but they can really be destructive.
We have a Raspberry patch (about 50 foot square).
Porcupines, like beavers, have tis compulsion to chew in the spring. A porcupine will stand on his hind legs and gnaw off a stalk. They then move to the next, and kill it.
In a night a porcupine can chew off 20 or 30 stalks. A family of porcupines have destroyed my patch a couple times.
A healthy stalk will produce between 3 and 4 pints during the season. We sell them for 5 dollars a pint.
It adds up quick.
A .22 with low velocity loads solves a lot of problems with very little noise.
Looks like a giant rodent to me.
I hate rodents.
We use traps.
I can’t stay up all night anymore.
Have you seen his pumpkin video?
and sounds like a jawah.
They are a rodent.
“Porcupines are rodents with a coat of sharp spines, or quills, that defend them from predators. They are indigenous to the Americas, Southern Asia, Europe, and Africa. Porcupines are the third largest of the rodents, behind the capybara and the beaver. Most porcupines are about 2536 in (6491 cm) long, with an 810 in (2025 cm) long tail. Weighing 1235 lb (5.416 kg), they are rounded, large and slow. Porcupines come in various shades of brown, gray, and the unusual white. Porcupines’ spiny protection resembles that of the unrelated erinaceomorph hedgehogs and monotreme echidnas”
