O’Reilly is repulsive in his arrogance. He’s an opportunistic jerk-off, that’s all.
I heard O’Reilly say he didn’t take the Bible literally. Well, I don’t take O’Reilly literally.
And magnificently proud of his smallness.
But he is entertaining ....
If you look up the expression “Often wrong, never in doubt” in a dictionary of phrases, you’ll see a picture of O’Reilly.
I’m curious how many of these “errors” are truly “errors,” and not mere disagreements. For instance, the author claims Jesus died on the 14th. There was severe disagreement among Jews... and thus among Christians... as to how to date the Passover: Jesus celebrated the passover with his disciples, and then the next day was killed “on the day before the passover.”
Those who believe he died on the 14th were known among early Christians as Quartodecimanists, and while adventists and others swear to this dating as the only way of interpreting biblical dating, the early church decided against them. So, in this matter, O’Reilly sides with the mainstream of historians.
Bill favors a maximized audience over intellectual honesty.
I haven’t read the book and I won’t read the book so I’ll not comment on the inaccuracies. But I will say that taking these efforts seriously is impossible. His choice of subject matter in each book exactly duplicates the work 45 years ago of Hearst columnist Jim Bishop and his The Day -——Died series. Those books I read in HS. How any reviewer could not begin by pointing out BOR’s blatant rip off of Bishop is beyond me. Any review should start and end at that point.
Can’t stand this blowhard. Haven’t watched his show in years.
Well, it is obvious that Mr. Bill Ororo is quite full of himself.
But he is entertaining ....
Yeah, in the same way a leech sucking your lifeblood is.
People really argue about what day something happened nearly two thousand years ago?
Really?
I think they might want to spend a little more time on the message.
Are you the author? In any case, I cannot believe that this Moseley picks such trivial things to argue about. He makes Bill O’Reilly look like a great intellectual by comparison.
Don’t complain to me; complain to the author of WND, who decided to trash O’Reilly.
Amen. Saddam Hussein was still alive the last time I watched O’Reilly.
Getting your religious views about our Lord and Savior from Ted Baxter is like asking Margaret Sanger to raise your child...
Make that.... like asking Margaret Sanger to help raise your child...
Yeah I’m going to learn about history from a guy who can’t tell the difference between a Falafel and a Loofah.
I’m like most people on this site. I can’t stand Orielly either. But he did a great job on his book
And an outstanding narration on his audio book as well. I highly reccomend it. You will be fascinated. Yes maybe he made a few mistakes on the dates but those mistakes are not what the story is about. Go to YouTube and listen to Bill Orielly-Killing Jesus. It’s free. If you like it buy the book. I did.
