One thing liberals do extremely well is project their own inadequacies, emotions and so on, to others.
John Podesta, couldnt wait to announce, in his own way, the fact that he was once again wielding executive power over Americans by comparing House Republicans to the Jim Jones cult. First, the ideology behind what Jim Jones had setup in Guyana is much more in line with what the imbecile Podesta obviously believes. If there is a political cult in this country, it is mainly comprised of the followers of the Democrat party; its elected officials in Congress, the fainters, the weepers, knee-jerk liberals, leg-tinglees and a carnival of sycophants.
An obvious example of the cult-like behavior is evidenced by the record on passage of Obamacare. We now have Senators running around claiming that the lie of, if you like your plan, you can keep your plan and so on, was unknown to them this from members of the worlds most deliberative body; what a joke! What is most disturbing about these Senators, however, aside from marching lock-step in true cult-like fashion, is the fact that they must actually think that their constituents would believe them and their feigned ignorance of a law they passed. It is simply sad that a certain amount of their constituents will, in fact, believe them. At least the moron Nancy Pelosi can actually, truthfully say, that she didnt know what was in that disastrous bill. But what has to be the most important validation of the notion that Podesta was projecting is the fact that the esteemed journalist BlahBlah Walters admitted that she and her comrades thought that our fearless leader was going to be the next messiah. It should be shocking that a member of the press would admit to having sipped the kool-aid that Mr. Obama was dispensing; sadly, it isnt. If a respected, among her colleagues, member of the media fell for this, it is no wonder that we are at the mercy of the ill-informed, oblivious fools who also, cult-like, fell for hope and change.
So, Podesta, you sipped the kool-aid too, didnt you? Are you, sir, capable of understanding why you are in the priesthood of this cult or have you been blinded by the corrupting power you wield on behalf of your leader?
However, you do have to admit the band named The Cult kicked a**!
I saw them 2 years ago at the Indian casino close to us. The dude (receding hair line but who cares) can still belt out Fire Woman like it was yesterday.
Absolutely, I agree completely.
Well I love the rain.
Raaaaiiinnnn yeah yeah!!!!
They still do :-)
Can’t we just find a way to ship ALL liberals off to Antarctica?
Isn't there a little part of you that would like to see how they are going to handle the zombie hordes that they've unleashed. I'd at least like to see a few feeding hands bitten.
This article treats Pudesta as if he were trying to make a serious statement. He wasn’t - he was just trying to get a rise out of his enemies. The only meaningful response is “kiss off, turd”.
I’d settle for shipping them off to any place!
Actually, in the context in which he made the comparison, he was quite serious; in any event, I like your response to him - too bad there isn’t a Republican who has the gonads to say it.
