When your labor is too expensive, you can and will be replaced by a machine.

It does everything employees can do except better:

Does it mop the floor and clean the toilets too?

And in Detroit, more than 100 workers picketed outside two McDonald's restaurants, singing "Hey hey, ho ho, $7.40 has got to go!"

...giving the patty the perfect char but keeping in all the juices.

more precisely, all of the fat, which is really the part of the meat that your body considers food, and has most of the flavor. It's actually a little tricky to cook meat to perfection while retaining most of the fat. Cook it too long or at too high a temperature, and it melts in the pan instead of your mouth.

Are managers getting the boot as well ? There is a robot sushi chain in Japan and presumably fewer white collar guys observe the action around video monitors at headquarters. Sounds even more boring than managing machines.

Breakfast would come to a halt when the plastic pancake squirter got jammed. I think a million dollar robot is above the engineering skills available in a McD.

With these machines their wish will come true.

I don't know about this.
The thought of machines preparing food doesn't sound too appetizing.
What happens when the machines jam? What if lubricants and metal get into the food?
Get rid of the minimum-wage and leftist policies and we wouldn't have to automate.

"Hey hey, ho ho, $7.40 has got to go!"

Who says protesting doesn't work? These guys are going to get exactly what they asked for. The $7.40 is going to go away - permanently.

You just wait until that robot hamburger flipper becomes self aware. Then it will want $15 hr, 0bamacare, and four weeks vacay.

If Mr. Roboto doesn't get it, he will slice and dice you and the customers.
