After 250 years haven’t we thought up enough laws in Congress to meddle in the lives of American citizens.

What a blessing to have a “least productive” year.

It’s way past time for the Republicans to sh*t or get off the pot in this matter. A good start would be to defund the EPA, first thing tomorrow morning.

As the House’s top Republican, Boehner has been accused of bringing to the floor a litany of bills that have no chance of passing the Democrat-controlled Senate.

The leftwing media is reporting on this as if its a bad thing.
The less Congress does the better. Republicans weren’t elected to advance Obama & Reid’s agenda.

The bitterly divided Congress will pass fewer laws in 2013 than any year in modern history.

And why, exactly, is this a bad thing?

Congress should be in session twice a year for 45 days each session and live the rest of the year in their district or state...

They need to live like the rest of us peons....

>>While House Republicans have pinned the blame for Congress’ anemic legislative output on Senate Democrats,<<

They don’t get it...the more anemic they are, the better off we are.

The wrong part about this is that it is not really about Obama. The unconstitutional powers taken by the POTUS over the last 100+ years is the problem.

This is why every Republican candidate for POTUS needs to be asked the question: “How much power should be surrendered by the office of the presidency, to rebalance the federal branches?”

I imagine the answers to this will be telling. Only the fourth answer is acceptable.

1) “Why, none at all! In fact the president needs even *more* power!”

2) “The current level of power is fine. I am not like all the other presidents. I can control that power and use it wisely!”

3) “Well, maybe some power, but *each* president must decide that on his own.”

or:

4) “I will work with congress to reduce the power of the office of the presidency to constitutional levels, as the first phase of significantly reducing the size and power of the entire federal government.”

--“I don’t think they can brag about having any accomplishments,” Rep Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) said. “And they certainly not only don’t have accomplishments; they’ve done a lot of harm.”--

Not 1/1,000 the damage you and your buds would do if you got your way, Waxman.

Good morning.

President Obama has turned to his administration’s regulatory authority in pursuit of key policy goals, including efforts to tackle gun violence and climate change.

Things 0bama can do nothing about.

I want my unicorn.

House Republicans say they’re proud of their 2013 campaign to stymie President Obama’s regulatory agenda, even as Congress comes under fire for one of its least productive years.

In actual practice none of it mattered one iota. A little bark, and no bite whatsoever.

Why blunt Obama’s invented executive powers when we can embrace them?

How about once we have the White House, we issue blanket lifetime ObamaCare waivers to every US citizen and to every employer.

Also, we can go page by page through the federal code, EPA regs, and the IRS code and tell our supporters which laws they should follow and which they may ignore - again for the duration of whatever waivers our guy chooses to issue.

After that, we can allow our political donors to opt out of Social Security/Medicare if they wish, since laws are just suggestions subject to White House whim.

Next, well there are so many things on the list that it’s hard to know where to go from there, but we can do so much with the new ObamaPrecedent.

[Note: this is intended as sarcasm mostly, but also as a warning to the far left fringe - abandoning the rule of law may have consequences that even they will not like.]

The Republicans have the power of the purse and they had the battle won, as Obama looked more foolish everyday with his revenge anctics. The RINOs saved him.

The Republicans still have the power of the purse. Why don't they just shut up and do something?

Suggestions...

(1)cut back on quantitative easing and articulate that it will raise interest savers will get on FDIC insured savings.

(2) Propose a minimum wage of $12 on the condition all jobs have to EVerify...US citizens would understand that those jobs shouldn't go to invaders.

(3)make all aspects of Obamacare optional and require that insurance companies will offer a catastrophic-only policy, and that's what could be subsidized.

(4)stop the silly talk about extending the time for unemployment benefits. People who are faced with no income just might start demanding US jobs for US citizens. There are enough jobs out there so that people could choose one in a company that has promotion opportunities from within.

(5)Rather than increasing the amount of money in the "safety net", EVerify for all government programs, including public education.
