He better hope nobody saw his presser if he doesn’t want his polling to crater.

It's was just about a month ago, I had to listen to some dumbass liberal bloviating about how "the American people" would remember the whole government shutdown (anybody remember that?) and blame on the GOP, so the Dems would take control of the House and grow stronger in the Senate.

As I usually do, I just nodded and calmly told him that he really doesn't know anything about politics. Once ObamaCare failed, the Dem party was looking at big trouble next year. It failed way sooner than I expected.

I was dubious before, but I’m beginning to accept the reality that Obamacare can be a Death Star for Democrats in 2014.

The whole healthcare deal won’t go away. Today’s decree just adds to the confusion.
And in a year the employer mandate comes back, which will be explosive also.

The community is not organized.

We have called for the best community organizers in the country.

It is still not organized.

What to do? What to do?

I’m not sure if I’m willing to follow the premise: Presidents in free-fall do not hold press conferences. (Of course, this time it might be different).

Some kind of gun problem or gun control. It’s how they go on offense.

Obama tries to quell Dem rebellion ".......[Big SNIP] But here’s the thing: No matter what Dems continue to say — and no matter how hard Republicans try to foment disarray among them — it’s far from clear that any legislative fix can pass and go to the president. As one senior Senate Democratic leadership aide put it candidly to me: ” House Republicans won’t support the Landrieu bill. Upton wouldn’t pass here. So nothing will pass both Houses and get to the president.”

All of which is to say that all of the chips have been placed on Obama’s administrative fix. That’s probably the only fix we’re getting, and the rest of the machinations among Dems are probably going to amount to little more than noise and posturing. Indeed, even Obama’s fix, if insurers don’t play along, is probably not going to be a major factor.

So we’re back where we’ve always been: All that really matters is whether the law works over the long haul, and the fate of Dem lawmakers is heavily bound up in that outcome. Dems should probably just resign themselves to that political reality and do all they can to make the law a success, and to communicate to constituents that patience and a long view are necessary."

White House officials are scheduled to meet with the House and Senate Democratic caucuses Thursday afternoon on Capitol Hill. They are expected to meet and strategize over patches to the law.

There’s a black family living close to me who left their Obama 2012 sign in their front yard notwithstanding that the election had been decided a year ago. They finally took it down a couple of days ago, presumably because they’ve now seen the light and are embarrassed by their support of the incompetent turd.

“Changing the rules after health plans have already met the requirements of the law could destabilize the market and result in higher premiums for consumers,” said Karen Ignani, president and chief executive of America’s Health Insurance Plans. “Premiums have already been set for next year based on an assumption of when consumers will be transitioning to the new marketplace. If now fewer younger and healthier people choose to purchase coverage in the exchange, premiums will increase and there will be fewer choices for consumers.”

I would argue that the entire democratic caucus told him to face the people or else they would abandon ship on Friday.

I would question BO doing anything because of poll numbers. I see this as a personal serious legal issue: FRAUD.
