TMZ reports that during a deposition for a lawsuit against a magazine, Cruise claims he works harder than the US military or Olympic athletes. Asked if he accepted the assertion of his team that his work making movies is as difficult as fighting overseas, the actor responded:
That's what it feels like... it was brutal, it was brutal.
Later in the deposition, Cruise compared himself to an Olympic sprinter.
Gold Star Widow Jane Horton, whose husband Sniper SPC Christopher Horton was KIA in Afghanistan on September 9, 2011, told TruthRevolt:
The closestf Tom Cruise has ever gotten to fighting in Afghanistan is trying to dodge the paparazzi. How dare he compare his lush lifestyle and cush acting career to fighting valiently for freedom and putting your life on the line to defend your country.
I am sure fellow Gold Star families, veterans and most Americans will strongly agree with her thoughts.

I’m glad he is totally into himself...because no one else is...I wonder what would happen if Obama and Cruise got close to each other — would one consume the other?

I always judged him as a dork.
This (plus his membership in Scientology) justifies it.
Hey Tomdork, let me take you up in my F-15 so you can hurl again, wimp.

The progression from Jimmy Stewart to Tom Cruise shows that Hollywood’s standards for leading men have gone into a vertical dive.

He also thinks his Scientology powers can heal the sick and raise the dead. In an interview he talked about passing by a car accident where EMTs were helping the injured, and said that he wished he could have stepped in there before the medical personnel arrived because he believed he could do more good than they could...
I noticed that he preferred water during that interview because at no time did he touch his glass and turn it into wine /s (freakshow)

I suppose when you are rich like that everything you can’t buy seems hard.

Tom Cruise is a male...NOT a man.
He shows how out of touch Hollywood is with the real world.

Maybe theyd go supernova. Actually the mass of each ego is such that eventually they collapse inward forming a black hole. Unfortunately, in the process they tend to suck everything around them into oblivion also.
Somewhere I read that in either early England or the US, actors were not allowed to vote. (sorry, I am unable to document this)
Makes sense to me.
