Rogue police officers and sheriffs deputies in a Southern New Mexico county are guilty of the sort of malevolent abuse of authority which has come to typify the lust for power exhibited by far too many police officials and departments across the nation. Officers Bobby Orosco, Robert Chavez and Officer Hernandez subjected law abiding resident David Eckert to 14 hours of accusation and physical abuse as the suspect was forced to undergo X-Rays, 2 anal cavity searches, 3 enemas and a colonoscopy, all performed at the Gila Regional Medical Center without Eckerts consent.
The officers claim of probable cause for these procedures: Eckert appeared to be...

The way Glenn Beck told the story the guy was billed for everything.
Wait til he gets his copays and coinsurance portions?!
Sounds somewhat like the reverse of what happened in an episodes of “House”
Rape.
My suspiscion would be that there are some grudges over compensation for stolen goods having met "Disposition" thru the junk yard operator.
I have first hand knowledge of this back in the 1980's.
What’s really scary is that if they had found so much as a trace of drugs, we’d be saying it was justifiable. The cops just picked on the wrong guy, really. There a thousands, maybe millions, saying “Welcome to the party, Mr. Eckert”.
They billed him for it, and sent the bill to collections.
“The hospital.
Each doctor who performed any activity mentioned.
Any and all doctors present, whether they were participants or not.
Any and all medical assistants that were present.
“

In addition to the city of Deming and the Gila Regional Medical Center, these individuals are also getting sued:
Robert Chavez, Deming Police Officer
Bobby Orosco, Deming Police Officer
Officer Hernandez, Deming Police Officer
David Arredondo, Hidalgo County Deputy
Robert Rodriquez, Hidalgo County Deputy
Patrick Green, Hidalgo County Deputy
Daniel Dougherty, Deputy District Attorney
Robert Wilcox, M.D.
Okay Odocha, M.D.

“Innocent man subjected to enemas, X-Rays and colonoscopy in search for drugs”
Those pesky, over-zealous TSA agents... ;)
Just sayin’, I suspect that one of those pictured volunteered for the job.
We would lock them in a cell and turn the water off. After awhile or up to two days nature will take it’s course.
No he didn’t - they BILLED him and threaten to send it to collection..
It was a $6000 colonoscopy that didn’t actually look for anything medically relevant.
A-Ha! Murder.........
Shouldn’t Okay Odoche be a gynecologist and not a protologist?
