If you havent paid enough attention, you would likely assume that there are only two elections in the entire country. The first, involving that often seen rhinoceros species Governor Chris Christie who has been in bed with more Democrats than Ted Kennedy, and the second, involving the gubernatorial race pitting Ken Cuccinelli a real conservative and Terry McAuliffe an old Clinton retread whom Rush Limbaugh lovingly refers to as the punk.
Many conservatives are holding their breath rightfully so in Virginia and hoping for a victory for Cuccinelli. I couldnt agree more. He has solid conservative credentials, and was the first to file suit against the Affordable Care Act. Its easy to see that he is a man of action whose interest is governed in the civil society, the U.S. Constitution and in the welfare of the liberty of not only Virginians, but that of the American people.
It would be magnificent if Cuccinelli was to claim a victory tonight over McAuliffe and the GOP establishment. But it wont be the first time that Americans have suffered defeat and returned stronger to claim victory. And it wont be the first time for conservatives to suffer such a defeat. Reagan did it and returned to conquer both the Democrat Party and the RINOs that sought his defeat.

Enjoy, ping!
I think he lost, but thanks for the ping. :)
Unless a miracle occurs overnight, that is....
Thought you might enjoy ping!
He did lose.
so 1 percent does not warrant a recall ?
I think you might mean recount
oops
Had there not been a third candidate, we probably would have another republican governor tonight.
Conservative voters COULD have carried him over the finish line. They didn’t. U want to blame Rinos? The fake Libertarian? Gimme s break! We r in deeper trouble than you think.
Reminds me of an old Cheers episode where Frasier proves that putting up a monkey...or Woody...will garner 10% of the vote.
Sarvis = Monkey/Woody...paid for by Dim operative/0 bundler.
You’ve got to be kidding. How could Conservatives ALONE have carried Cooch over the line? I DO blame RINO’s, fake libertarians, Rovians, etc.
I don't know what the Virginia Constitution says on that one.
Agreed.
this is all in the lap of the state party and the GOP. They didn’t try and circumstances alone almost gave them a victory.. imagine what would have happened of they did try.
Agreed. The GOP didn’t even try and we should’ve won. Even with the libertarian in the race.
No, we didn’t surrender. And, we almost beat the Democrats, the GOPe, and George Soros....all in one night.
Thanks for ping.
Other than Dems politicians being corrupt and bereft of moral anchor-—a temporary inconvenience to us-—they are not our problem. We know they have and will defraud their own base-— the Ouroboros who eats itself. That eventuality is axiomatic.
My concern is the Dem-Lites in our own party...and their penchant to forsake the Constitution and gravitate to the full-blown Dem communists/fascists.
Posted this a short time ago on the Levin thread.

Unfortunately the good people did not prevail in Virginia.
