We hope they suffer a whole lot more than the millions of Americans whove lost their insurance thanks to them. Dont forget, America, Democrats own this horror show in its entirety and they must pay next November.
Senate Democrats vented their frustrations over the faulty rollout of the Affordable Care Act in a meeting Thursday with White House chief of staff Denis McDonough and other senior officials.
Theres a lot of frustration, everywhere, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said after the meeting.
McDonough tried to assure angry senators he is personally taking charge of the disparate federal offices in charge of implementing the massive law, which has been plagued by technical errors.
He gave us the impression that hes taking charge of the different elements and cracking the whip. He said to let him know if we had concerns, said a Democratic senator who attended the meeting.
Marilyn Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Jeffrey Zients, whom President Obama has tapped to troubleshoot the bugs afflicting HealthCare.gov, also attended the meeting.
Democratic senators facing reelection in 2014 were some of the most vocal critics.
One lawmaker described Sens. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) as visibly agitated.
Shaheen demanded to know why the rollout of HealthCare.gov had become so riddled with problems.
A Democratic aide said Shaheen asked the administration officials for a contingency plan in case technical problems are not fixed by Nov. 30. They replied they are working on one but did not have a plan to share as of Thursday.
Theyre working on a plan to fix the next debacle! Surely it will save the day.
[People] are unhappy. We want to see improvements. Theyve got to let people know what theyre doing, as theyre doing it, said Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio).
Brown said too many people still dont know how to sign up for health plans through the insurance exchanges.
This is a situation where too many people dont know about the website, dont know how to apply, he said.
If there are still people who dont know about this disastrous website then we need to re-define low-information voter.
Couldn’t the same be said about the Federal government as a whole?
I hope and pray that this site will be worse in a month, not better. I would happily watch the tens of thousands of parasites who are willing to sign up for ObamaCare lose their meager savings to identity theft, billed for several dozen ObamaCare policies each, or covered but only if they drive to the far end of a large state and then pay a large deductible. Almost any price is worth it if that will kill this terrible law before ObamaCare kills my parents, kills innocent babies, and kills other decent people whose treatment will not pass a Death Panel’s “cost effective” standard.
Now whether it actually works or not does not matter but I guarantee you that there will be a huge announcement that the site is "Fixed" and the MSM will get their marching orders and they will toe the line and say it is so.
He who controls the Media, controls the message.
And the message for the Obama admin is that everything is good.
Case closed!
It's worse than any of that. They live in tv-land. They are Matrix voters who continue to swallow the wrong pill.
RATS going down with the ship. They scurry all over the deck, then climb the masts as water comes over the sides.
Come on the navigators have to have at least 20 hours of training and pass a “vigorous” on line exam to become propagandists. They can earn 20.00 to 68.00 dollars an hour.
They do have a contingency plan - double down on blaming Bush, Cruz, Lee, and anyone else who spoke out against the plan as saboteurs. Might be hard to demonstrate how anyone spilled coffee on the keyboards of those who wrote/passed the law and those who commissioned and “developed” the web site though.
He who controls the Media, controls the message.
The thing that makes the obozocare situation different is that the narrative comes from the lives of the people affected NOT from the spin of the day line from the MSM.
People WILL be poorer, sicker or without effective care entirely. Obozo seems to have PERSONALLY broken into the ‘Dancing with the Stsrs’ stupor of the low info voter....with an armload of stinking, steaming shit.
One lawmaker described Sens. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) as visibly agitated.
I believe the term for what they're experiencing is "flop sweat". The career ending kind.
This is a great theme for the 2014 elections. The government can’t solve personal issues regardless of how much money is spent. The more you depend on government for your needs the more impacted you will be when things go wrong.
The GOP should drive this hard into the minds of the people hooked on hopium. Maybe some have hit rock bottom on their addiction to government and are willing to go to rehab and become self-sufficient. But then again, some are still riding that hopium high just thinking it hasn’t fully kicked in yet.
“They’ll simply transfer everyone to Medicaid......as most who are signing up are signing up for that currently....low income people.....single payer coming faster than most realize.”
Of course.
This is deliberate. They are not working on “Obamacare”. What they ARE doing is burning all bridges to the past as fast as possible - pure destruction is the mission, once accomplished, there will be no going back because what existed before 2012 will be in ruins.
They don’t really care about the website. Neither should we.
Care instead about the man behind the curtain. He’s where it’s at.
A thought came to me. The anti-voter fraud laws passed in many states, including my state, NC, are being opposed because of claimed discrimination against the minorities and the poor. Why? Because they require application for free photo ID, which allegedly impacts minorities and the poor more than others.
Doesn’t ACA do the same thing? Who has less access to the internet? Who has less access to transportation to see a navigator?
Just wondering.
I find it interesting that companies like Google, RedHat, and Oracle are sending in gurus to help out.
Because every floundering mega project needs a few more egotistical generals to direct the troops....right....
They will “declare it fixed” on 11/30. Problem solved. :)
And then there's, that.
Yep.....either way the agenda goes forth non stop...
