Halawi, a Christian from Lebanon, was having a conversation in Arabic with a co-worker and praising a Muslim colleague when it was misinterpreted by another Muslim employee as an insult. The real reason she was ousted is because she understands Arabic, and might overhear and report on what Muslims are saying to each other. She should never have revealed she understood them.
