On Monday, a reporter for the often-liberal National Journal reported that a top Democratic strategist with ties to the White House and Capitol Hill wrote an email with a subject line “Dem Party is F****d.”
Ron Fournier, the National Journal reporter, noted that the email linked to an article in the Los Angeles Times that has joined the rest of the usually-lefty publications who have grown tired of defending he indefensible Obamacare healthcare overhaul.

I don’t think the op was attacking those with legitimate cause, if so he was wrong in his comment. With that said even those with legitimate cause are still part of the 49% number. Social Security or disability does not exclude you from the list but it does give legitimate reason to be on it. When I retire in a couple of years my name will be added to that list.

While fascism may be incompatible with the Founding Fathers’ views, it rose during tumultuous times to defend the middle and upper classes (and protect their private property rights) against Bolshevism. They shouldn’t be lumped with Dems today; the Dems don’t deserve the same characterization.
Here in NJ we’ve lost many private hospitals already; the same state that required them to treat illegals steadily reduced the reimbursement for doing so until they shut their doors. In my town our only hospital fought to erect a large parking garage in a residential neighborhood, then closed a few years sticking the neighborhood with this giant eyesore. Now we have to enter the welfare reservations to use a hospital...
