Most people who buy pickups buy them for working and they don’t like handouts nor those who beg for them.

GM used to produce the GMC Sonoma and its Chevrolet equivalent, a small pickup that sold in large numbers.
They stopped in favor of the large pickups with a higher profit margin.
Now you can’t buy a small pickup anywhere.
That’s what happens when businesses are run by MBAs and lawyers, rather than auto men.

Let me see... Government Motors or Ford...
It's just so hard to decide.

Because truck buyers generally work for a living.
Because trucks are expensive.
Because if you’re going to work for a living, and make an investment in a vehicle, you want to make a good choice.
Because we’re the opposite of all things big government.
Because we should be able to get an inexpensive truck from a company that we supposedly own.

I haven’t seen anything that would indicate that GM has pulled out of its death spiral. Get rid of the UAW. What’s the worst that could happen.....you go bankrupt? You already did.

Ford just makes a better product.
To: oldbill
This comes at a bad time for Government Motors, I’m sure they were relying on the high profit margins from truck sales to offset the $5,000 price cut from the Chevy Volt.

The Ranger was a good little truck. Ford still makes it, just not for the US.
I smell Ubama in there somewhere.

Yeah, but get rid of them and you don’t get a bailout the next time you go bankrupt.

Ford just makes a better product. It is still a UAW product made by blue-state workers.
Sorry, Toyota for me. American made, non-union, red-state Texas made.

Higher health insurance premiums equals less money for the average American to spend on a new truck payment. GM should expect things to get worse for them as our new healthcare system kicks in.

Not buying the products of the corrupt crony capitalists is one of the few peaceful means we have to strike back at the fascist state. Fortunately, John Roberts hasn’t yet decided that being forced to buy a Chevy is merely a Constitutional tax.

Owned and drove Chevy trucks for almost 40 years.
Bought my first Ford earlier this year. F150 King Ranch.
Will not support Government Motors and the Orwellean Spyware they call 'OnStar'.
