The father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said that the "liberal media" in the U.S. has an "evil agenda" that reminds him of the “ministry of misinformation” in communist countries like Cuba.
In an interview with radio host Glenn Beck, Cruz said that the media was interested in "destroying what this country is all about.”
“In your previous segment you were talking about imagining America,” Cruz said, according to a video clip obtained by BuzzFeed. “I’ll tell you what, it almost seemed like I was listening to what was happening in Cuba during Castro. The very same thing, the ministry of misinformation that you have in all the communist countries."
"Did you know, Glenn, we have a ministry of misinformation in this country?" Cruz continued. "It’s called the liberal media, and they just tell us what they want us to hear. They are rewriting history.”
Cruz went on to accuse the media of having "an evil agenda."
The elder Cruz's comments come as his son's national profile has skyrocketed during the debate over the government shutdown.
A poll released by Pew Research Wednesday showed that Cruz's favorability had soared among the Tea Party conservatives that have significant sway in Republican primaries, up from 47 percent in July to 74 percent today. But among non-Tea Party Republicans, just a quarter approve of the Texas senator.

Dyke wasn’t done being venomous because he had this to say when questioned about the attacks Adam Kinzinger has made against Ted Cruz, the Tea Party, and conservatives, “I think attacking stupidity and the bags of meat it lives in is appropriate. Cruz has done irreparable harm to our chances of taking the Senate in 2014, and if it wasn’t for the outstanding job of gerrymandering done by our Republicans in other states, might cost us the House, too. Right now we have pseudo-conservatives calling for policies that are a) never going to happen in this country b) so idiotic other Rs are soiled by association and hurt electorally and c) morally repugnant. I hear activists say we should deport all 11 million illegal aliens (a 21st century Trail of Tears), outlaw homosexuality, and prohibit early-term abortions in cases of rape. None of these positions is in the national or IL state party platform (for good reason) but somehow this filth keeps bubbling to the surface. Additionally, positions like these make Republicans LOSE ELECTIONS!!! If you really want to shrink government’s role in society, like I do, it makes ZERO sense to say and do things that cost Republicans elections, because the Dems that laugh all the way to victory lane sure aren’t going to reign in Uncle Sam.”......................

The Soviet socialists had that form of media. The national socialists had that form of media. Now Obama has the same media. Socialists are consistent, and so is the media class.
I met Roger Ailes in 1972 after having attended the Republican National Convention, held in Miami Beach that year. There I had a chance meeting with the legendary F. Clifton White who had been an advisor to Barry Goldwater and others. Not long after returning to Washington I had a call from Cliff White and he invited me to have lunch with him and a guest he wanted me to meet. It was Roger Ailes, then a producer, I believe, of the Donohue TV show out of Philadelphia. He was also advising President Nixon on media affairs. There were very few republicans in that era who had any connection to media, but Ailes was well on his way to changing that.

The bottom line is that Obama is a prick and many of the people who voted for him can’t bring themselves to admit it. They make excuses for him. They are as dysfunctional as he is.
The liberal media is the primary reason for the downfall of this nation.
After the rev. Wright tapes went public, barack Hussein Obama would have been done if not for the liberal media going into complete spin cycle.
The media is evil. Even after things Trayvon case, they tried to throw gas on the fire. The fire they tired to start could have led to violent riots which could have led to deaths. They are truly evil. They truly represent evil.

If it wasn’t for the Facebook, I’d never know the Left’s latest hit piece talking points.
I no longer see my liberal associates’ daily spew of “moveon” memes and made up attack stories from the Onion and other satire sites (sometimes mistakenly forwarded as “faxctez!!!”) but I saw enough of them from an angry girl I know (who just got married last month, you’d think she’d find other things to busy her time and be in a more blissful state of mind right now).
Anyway, the latest hits are that “Ted Cruz didn’t mention a $6,000 investment in Jamaica 10 years ago” (Timothy Geitner’s name ring a bell anyone???) and that the Republicans in Texas are trying to invalidate the 19th amendment to keep Wendy Davis from becoming the next governor.
