And then there is the foreign press, they would be all over something like this, if only to say 'naughty, naughty' to the Government. The Armed forces overseas would have to be totally disarmed and interned to prevent them from 'doing something'. Things like that, it's just too big a plan to keep on track.
But with all of that being said, it makes a person like me think and say, 'Hmmmm, now what would I do in that sort of scenario?'
So I invite you to do the same thing, think and speculate, try to have fun doing so and maybe we will all learn something new from each other that might mitigate such a scenario.
Thanks and have fun.

A scope on that rifle is a waste of time and money.
A reticule is a woman’s drawstring bag used especially as a carryall. Stopped reading to look it up. Can’t imagine how the story ends.

MISO, for one, is interconnected into Canada.
A 30-30?
Please.............
A spotter? For a 30-30?

thanks

Reticle, not reticule.
I’m finding it very interesting that other than Dynoman pointing out the Electrical grid ‘impossibilities’ that no one has commented on even the remote possibility of such a scenario or how to deal with the DHS ‘Donation’ Raids.
So what is it? Is it impossible to imagine the U.S. Government deciding to ‘rid itself’ of half the population of ‘Useless Eaters’ and Mal-contents to the current ‘regime’ in power? Is it impossible to imagine that by doing so that the possibility of eliminating the populace of Fly-over country and packing the remaining populace into the easily controlled cities?
What I see is nit-picking over details, 30-30, Spotter, Electrical Grid sabotage, that sort of thing.
I’m not sure what to think here, We are asked over and over again to think of SHTF scenarios and how we would deal with them. Well here’s one, with the addition of the ultimate ‘looter class’ the Government and it’s own forces collecting the items most people needed to survive a SHTF scenario. No Food — That was taken under the Anti-hoarding Laws. No Weapons aka Firearms — those were taken under the FEMA Emergency Management Law.
Gasoline — Modern American rely exclusively on powered transport. No Gas and you are reduced to walking, no gas and you can’t operate a Chainsaw to cut firewood. How many people have an axe anymore? And you can only take what you can carry or pull along in a cart or wheelbarrow if you are forced to leave your home.
Things like that... and I don’t see any comments about what could be done.
There you go. Where’s my ping?
The electrical grid only stay up as long as the rural folks permit it. I’m not sure about the probability of this scenario, but for sure, the cities depend on the outside infrastructure for everything from food to fuel to electricity.
