NATIONWIDE ELECTRONIC FOOD STAMP SHUTDOWN REPORTED, COMPUTER SYSTEM UPGRADE BLAMED

(TheBlaze/AP) — Major problems were reported Saturday all across America with the Electronic Benefits Transfer System, as consumers were stuck with no way to pay at registers, notes WBZ-TV in Boston.

WBZ reported that a computer-system upgrade was to blame, while the Associated Press reports that a routine check by vendor Xerox Corp. resulted in a system failure.

People in Ohio, Michigan and several other states found themselves unable to use their food stamp debit cards while shoppers from Maine to Oklahoma had to abandon baskets of groceries because they couldn’t access their benefits.

I couldn't agree more. I think the same about the government shut down and closing the national parks.

I've been thinking that the national parks thing has been a trial run for instituting martial law. They're poking and prodding trying to see what kind of response they'll get from the public.

Problem is, they are irritating more and more of the general populace.

First it was the Million Biker ride, now it's this.

People are acting in a restrained, polite manner, so the government will be misinterpreting the response.

If the government gets serious, so will a lot of other people.

Once their usefulness to him is over, Obama , or the Democrat party for that matter, does not give a damn about what happens to their voters. The Democrats abandoning the elderly, the union, and the Black vote for the immigrant vote demonstrates this. The problem is that neither of the mentioned groups have the intelligence to realize that the Democrats have abandoned them. But if they had any intelligence, they would not vote Democrat.

But I honestly believe this was a test and that we have a few more weeks, maybe even until after the holidays, but not much more.

If I were the enemy, I'd do it right before Thanksgiving, to inflict the maximum physical, psychological and economic damage to America as possible.

Maybe on the 22^nd to pollute the 50^th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination, but surely before America's Holiday, Thanksgiving, to diss God and those evil white Pilgrims, and to destroy shopping on Black Friday.

Have noticed something Laz. You have noticed it too. My vote is dry run. What have noticed is several states have not been able to update their cards, in several states, for a couple of months. Those not having their cards updated have had to find alternatives to using their federal food stamp cards. My vote is dry run and zer0 and his crowd are taking notes. A whole host of the terrorists are in the People’s White House. zer0 is one of those terrorist, as everyone knows that is paying attention.

Georgia is neither. While he could own central Atlanta for a few days, it would self-destruct fast and the rednecks surrounding it would ensure rampaging hordes wouldn’t get far.

I'd bet on after the holidays. If they try it during the holidays and ruin it for people, they'll turn too many against them.

Besides, the way I see it, better until we're in the teeth of winter, in January. The weather will be much worse and more dangerous, and it would make it harder for people to move around. And easier to track them in the snow.
