If the Earth suddenly lost all of its water, I think we would have bigger problems than global warming.

This is NOT satire. I went to the CBS web site. Yes they really did say air temperatures could reach 212F.

"JUNK SCIENCE begets JUNK ANSWERS"
Consider the source : the UN report
If the ignoramouses ignore the fact that the polar ice cap has expanded 27 %larger this year than in past years
then they are reading the UN report , and not looking outside their own windows.
You can't FIX INTENTIONAL and PURPOSELY STUPID !
but ,.. you can ignore them !
.. and then the media wonder why they are losing viewers and credibility !

Isn't CBS behind the curve?
It hasn't been Global Warming for awhile, since they had to change it to the more generic "Climate Change" (which actually means absolutely nothing). Besides, aren't the nutters now claiming Global Cooling? You know, like they did in the 70's with their 'nuclear winter' crapola.

Whenever some moron starts “educating” me about global warming I politely ask them how much Planck's Law of black body radiation effects Earth's temperature. I have yet to have one know what I am talking about.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls our climates.
3. The earth is a rock.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

and if the air temperature was 212 degrees all the water would evaporate and there would be no water .... bit humidity would be 100% and it would soon rain creating noah-ite flooding and global cooling —just in time for the next global climate change.
