Looking for input from anyone who is using or has used Amac.
I've received literature from Amac - The Conservative Alternative to AARP, and would like to hear reviews from anyone currently using it.
Please, this is a serious question, and I would like serious answers.
Thank you all.
I joined but I really didn’t use any of the discounts or offerings since I am otherwise covered on all that stuff. They have pretty much the same thing that AARP does which I never joined and am glad I didn’t. If you want to help a conservative lobby group go ahead and join AMAC you might get some insurance or travel discounts to offset the nominal cost of joining.
We joined but have not as yet used any of their services. We would recommend them over aarp.
Good morning, dblshot
Thanks for you advice.
My fear is that I’ll never use their services, either.
But, your suggestion on helping a conservative lobby group, might convince me to join anyway.
Good morning siamesecats
(love the Siamese)
Thanks for your advice, as well.
My fear is that I’ll never use their services, either. But, am considering enrollment.
AARP is a way for people to receive redistributed wealth. The conservative equivalent is to have your wealth stolen.
My parents tried to join but they didn’t offer any of the insurance coverage that AARP provides. I think it had to do with medication discounts.
hi bigtoona
thanks for your input
I may need to have option for dental after I retire as the company I work for will cancel my dental after a certain amount of time. I’ll look into that.
AARP does not provide insurance. They allow real insurance providers to use the AARP name/logo to pedal their wares, for a fee of course.
I’ve been getting junk mail from AMAC too. I don’t mind since I am pretty sure they are OK. However I did call AARP to get off their mailing list. Not only would I not join, I don’t want their junk in my mailbox either.
Hi TheConservativeParty
Thanks for your input.
I guess I should add AARP to “my list” to get taken off “their list” too.
